wrong answer try again and please this time explain why, otherwise who learns from this questions?

  #4

nonsense mutation

  #5

E. RNA splicing,
This is the only step after the mRNA is transcript

  #6

B.

All the other mutations either affect the size of the mRNA (i.g. splicing, premature termination) or the amount of mRNA (i.g. promoter mutation), which can be easilly detected when quantifying the amountf RNA.

A Nonsense mutation is a mutation in the DNA that leads to a Premature STOP Codon when the mRNA is being translated into protein. The mRNA would be transcribed correctly, but when the protein would be translated, it would be stopped prematurely leading to a truncated protein. So, after the explanation the answer is B)

please explain your answers otherwise it's a nonsense answer sad

yes it has to be NON SENSE mutataion since it leads to a premature STOP codon when the translation is being carried out.......coolnodnod
