right. tRNA are the smallest pieces of RNA thus they migrate farthest when subjected to electrophoresis. The largest molecules are in the messenger RNA mRNA and heterogeneus nuclear RNA (hnRNA). Most ribosomal RNA is synthesized from a 45S precursor which is cleaved into 5,8s and 28S rRNAs. A 5S RNA is synthesized separately. Thanks MHP for your explanation, I really hate when people just put their choice and don't give any explanation at all, who learns from that, jeeeeez, that's why I am not putting any more quest, this one was a qbank question. yes itz f..since the traansfer RNA is the smallest rna and travelz faster to the base during electrophoresis......
