Hi, I am back from the trauma centre, oops- i mean exam centre. I had a good 5 hours sleep before exam. The first 3 blocks, i felt ok, in fact good. Felt i was doing nbme/UW qns, i found exam level to be about same,or a just tiny bit lower. Then started the trauma. 4th and 5th (and somewhat 6th) blocks had Qns i had no clue to. Did not even have to choose b/n 2 choices, bec i couldnot even narrow it down to 2. 7th and 8th blocks back to UW standard. To soon-to-be-examinees, :1,2,3 then 7,8th blocks had about 4 extended matching Qns each.(we know these are a relief and help save time, if u know the ans). The 4,5,6th killing blocks had just 1 each. It seems these 3 blocks were deliberately made tougher. The most covered IM topic was neuro(UW type), and a Qn on gaits in almost each block. And yes, the options of matchingQns WERE in alphabetical order all the time. The exam was over in one crazy blurr. I cant even recall the subject distribution.I had promised myself not to think about it bec i have cs in 2 1/2 weeks. But there were so so many Qns i was not sure of the answer.I dont know how its going to end. UW rocks.(I just wish i could have rocked it more in the prep!!)
