i understand there are anatomic and clinical pathologists. At least the first ones don't have as much patient contact as a clinician such as a pediatrician, internist, surgeon, etc. But correct me if i'm wrong, please.

yes...pathology and radiology !

why is it tht almost evry match the one lonely position offered in Nuclear Medicine ends up staying empty? How sky high are their requirements anyway?

  #10

intresting query drk1980...does anybody knows the answer??

  #11

no idea. But it requires 1 prior year of radiology i think. it's not direct.

no 24 hour wards..hmmm..in pathology, most "on-call" residents take calls from Home.

u must be kiddin.. fp is 1 of the most intensive pt-doc contact branches.. all primary care branches like im, ped, fp require a lot of communication skills
