Hi... I'd like to know what are the chances (and on what circumstances) a J1 visa application can be rejected. My parents are gc holders and my sister is in process of obtaining her gc due to marriage. I live in my homeland with my wife, but I'm afraid that for the fact of having my relatives living here the visa will be denied... Any ideas? Thank!

well having any close relatives on greencard will certainly be a disadvantage, but as in my case my visa got approved straight away. but if ur parents are greencard holders then u can get ur greencard within an year/2 of ur parents obtaining their us citizenship papers and passports. GL
