Hi,
I am a final yr medical student in Ahmedabad, India. I am hoping to do an internship elective in US. But i have heard some school authorities refusing to allow students to do electives abroad, without any logical reasons.
So if there is anyone from India who has done electives abroad, it wd a lot of help, coz atleast i wd know that it CAN be done...And its not exactly against the rules!!
If u has any views on this regard, please reply!

the view is simple as that
if you or your dad can cough up a few lakh bucks , you should go for ur intern to the us.
but here u'll get a bit of more time to study . so staying in india and taking your step 1 and 2 in internship is an even cooler idea.
