Yes, and the differentiating point from Myesthenia gravis is that in ELS muscle strength improves with repititive stimulation of the nerves. Extra-ocular muscles are spared. The patients usually have proximal muscle weakness in the limbs.

Treatment is with plasmapheresis and immunosuppressive therapy like prednisone and azathioprine
