The example is
45 year old Bob comes with chestpain since 3 hours,which radiates to his left arm.
Apart from history,P/E,Inv,DD
We want to counsel him for stopping smoking, alcohol and give advice for lifestyle change.How Do u counsel ?

Mr Bob, Do u know that smoking and drinking alcohol regularly can cause harm to your health ? I would like to suggest to you to consider quitting smoking . We hav a very good and professional staf here who can help you through the process ifu choose to seek their help. Drinking alcohol regularly can be very harm ful to your health aswell. Have you ever thought bout cutting back ? I can refer you to some experts who can help you in the process if u are interested. Cosidering your health and the fact that you may be having a heart problem.... I would like to suggest to u certain changes in your life style. First off exercise needsto become a very important part of your daily routine. Eating healthy is also very importnt. U should eat less fats and try to increase your fruits and vegetables intake. Our nutrition councellor at the hospital can render great advice and I would be happy to refer you to him.
Please .... some one tell me how this is ??? Is it too long or too short ???? Did I address every thing ???

But need to explain in one line that smoking increases your chance of getting heart and lung diseases and cancer, so quitting it will Help you decrease the risk and also improve present health problem

Counselling a patient who is already HIV positive ?
And
Counselling a patient who has multiple sex partners?eg:25 yo male with sore throat who comes with this H/O
And
Counselling a patient who has come with discharge from penis and ulcer on penis?

HIV COUNCELING:The biggest problem with HIV isn't the dz itself but the fact that it increases ur chances of getting other infections so ur body must be fortified with vaccines for pneuminia etc + if u notice any signs of infection like fever,sore thorat...see ur doctor immediately b/c it can be dangerous for u & spread in ur body.We also have support group who can help u deal with the problem in ur social life.
GENITAL DISCHARGE:Genital discharge is most likey due to STD's so I'd like to advise u to refrain from having sex until ur SX are resolved & if u do have sex then use condoms to protect ur partner from getting the disease from u.But at the moment I can't say anything for sure & will have to run some tests to find out exact cause of ur problem.
MULTIPLE SEX PARTNERS:Safest sex practise is to have sex with only 1 partner who has it only with u b/c mutiple sex partners put u at high risk for STD's like AIDS,gonorrhea etc.....that's it!
