hi all,
i have been following this forum since 1 year when i started with usmle.i am a fmg from india,2004 grad. step1 -83,step2-88,cs-pass,green card holder,have 3mos.us hospital exp(observership)in IM working in a big hospital (but no residency positions,non teaching hosp.),8weeks worked with a cardiologist(got 2 lors from these 2 places)question1 :does taking step 3 before sept.06 helps my application for IMresidency?2. can i apply to some univ. hosp with above cv or should i concentrate myself looking for community hospitals locally.I want to do residency (if GOD wants)in maryland (baltimore);dc area.any suggestions are welcome.thankyou to all.
