Third spacing of fluids -----> decreased intravascular volume ----> decreased renal blood flow and therefore diminished renal function -----> prerenal azotemia.
Oh and third spacing of fluids would be accumulation in the body other than the ECF and the ICF compartments...seen in ascites,pancreatitis,peritonitis etc.
