gestant second trimester, she is mild icteric, and have pain in right upper quadrant that radiates to the ipsilateral scapula. what mecanism explain this symptoms??
- Colecystitis
- Apendicitis
- hepatitis
- Hepatic Capsule Inflamation

I think is a good choice but what about Fitz Hugh Curtis, it curse with the hepatic capsule inflmation and diaphragm irrotation, Cholecyititis is a very rare entity in pregnants

i think cholecystitis is not rare during pregnancy...there is tendency to cholecystitis and cholelitiasis because of hormonal changes

can't appendicitis in pregnancy have an atypical presentation...?but then i suppose she would have other signs and symptoms...fever,tachycardia,etc.

Cholecystitis,fitz-hugh-curtis is a disorder that is caused by gonorhae...
if u think of mechanizm of cholecystitis,estrogen is one of them,so estrogen level raises in pregnancy....
