keepgoing, its really a big relief to see i m not d only one having guilt pangs n struggling with the odd "unable to study days". d only advice i'll offer u is look really well at ur username n KEEP GOING. good times r just round d corner. I hope u r managing really well with 2 subjects at once.
at my end, i read bacterias once n was totally spent out. will take a couple of days off to regain my sanity then will pick up bact againn do away with micro.

Hi guys,
It has been a while. I have not done as much as I would have liked because of my daughter's birthday but I am still trying for my tuesday target.
Novak: You are three hours behind us on the east coast. Therefore 1pm will be 10 AM for you.
By the way can someone tell me exactly how this wednesday 26 is going to go down. Will it be a live discussion or a question and answer thing? I will be at work at that time but I will try to be at lunch aroun that time.

I have been trying to get Kaplan Dvds but so far i have got the audio version of them n the sound quality is good so its easier to listen them instead of sitting infront of pc or a tv so if neone does need the audio versions plz tell me n i will transfer the files to u

hi everyone.
i m feeling nice n relaxed after a day's break.
@zade.. it ll b a full discussion. anyone can put fwd a topic he/she found difficult to understand n all can then clarify. n of course there ll be qs too. the idea behind these discussions is to synchronise d whole group at a bare minimum so that there's not too much lag n no subgroups, as u had written earlier.
@new n lost.. come to this post on 26 n all will be here. the time in GMT is abt 6pm.
n abt d audios, i agree audios r handy.
i was duped when i bought dvds n don't have biochem,mol bio,micro or immuno. the above links have these subjects but not all the lects. do u have d full version? so if its not too big a favor to ask, can u tranfer biochem,molbio,micro n immuno to me? it'll really be a gr8 help.

Hi everyone atlast our group is gathering 
@lily---dear dont get upset it happens sometimes that dont happen next time thats why we r having discussion so that things we forget or r confused with will get at ease..dont panic i study like imaging things going on in my own body my own cells or patient i had seen with so n so problem imagining his condition and what exactly happening inside his body cell for an example..like CANCER patients its juz an eg u can have better imagination than me so u may think im silly but trust me it worked for me juz try....
@indidoc---thanx for the links yep i m trying since long but never cud download anything fro gvn links for RAPIDSHARE...pity Cud u plz tell me how to do so coz everytime i try to it says ur site is already downloading some XYZ files hence u cant or u hv to wait  disgusting...cud u plz help me out as i want to download them free tho i hd orderd them for 200$ n later canceled if getting free why to spend money...RT?plz do forward me if u have in megaupload coz from there its easy... i shall be very thankful to u!

hi all
can i join your group as im planning to take my step 1 in or around jan 2007.I ve recently planned for that.I've done my MRCP part 1 as well.I am a graduate of 2001.Had plans for USMLE initially but some how the other ended up coming to UK.But now I am planing to take step 1.I ve a querry if im planning to take jan feb n march eligiblity period when do i need to apply cuz on their website they haven't added 2007 info booklet.

hi guys
i do believe i have the same files as indidoc1 mentioned cos i also dont certain chapters in the lectures but i got them from friend n i didnt know abt them being posted on net he transfered them to me by file sharing on yahoo n links r working fin. but the site allows only 1-2 downloads per 90 mins n if type the wrong password then its nother 90 mins wait. so ne nebody needs the files thru file sharing then do lemme know. guys dont get duped by ebay n it really sucks meanwhile if NEBODY HAS THE NOTORIOUS DVDS PLZ LEMME KNOW I WILL FIGURE A WAY OUT FOR EVERYBODY N PLZ SHARE THEM COZ THERE IS ONE THING U CANT STOP " TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE " SO LETS OURSELFS N OTHERS BY SHARING.
i have seen people with holding material cos they wanted to score better than the rest I totally agree with that but it never helps cos the other person seems to pop up where u least expected him lol............ so lets growup we aint in high school ne more we aint got nobody to plz or shine upon, we r professionals so lets act like ones n help
I may sound a bit stuck up abt it but for past couple of weeks i've met people u wont tell their own shadows wha they r upto n kept begging me for help so it kinda irritated me. so i just expressed my feelings hoping none of our guup fellows would get offended again my apologies to neone who found my words annoying

hi all
today ws my 2nd break day. but it wasquite difficult to completely give up on books. so what i did was review d biochem part i finished so that i m prepared fr d discussion.
@lily- like u, i also find d retention rate pretty poor. but what pleases me is that while in hav forgotten quite a few details, d concepts r all still there. i guess thats d case with u too. don't panic, rote memory will come with repetition only. n not much is needed fr d exam. what is reqd is clarity of concepts. as we repeat,things ll start sticking fr long.
@keepgoing- we have quite a similar method of studying-visualisation. n so far,its working!! abt rapidshare, its my least preffered site as well. megaupload is definitely d best. but my connection's upload speeds r appaling. i can try but it may take 3-4weeks. the rapidshare links were given to me by a frnd. i'll ask him again if he can find some megaupload or sendspace links. the msg u r getting means u r using a shared connection probably. that can cause prob with rapidshare. try using an independent connection if its available. that'll help.
@londoner- 2007 application materials will b available at d site at end of august. don't use 2006 material to apply or it'll b rejected.
@new n lost- d links were given to me by a frnd. d password is www.usmle.ge.

Hi everyone:
Yes indidoc, my studying is up and slowly running again but I have not reached my goal of completing biochem by tuesday. After the discussion I will reevaluate my new target.I am supposed to have a lite day at work on thursday and do hope to put it to good use. I have also dedided to travel by train to work instead of by car because I can add almost two hours of studying per day. If I can get some audio going on my cd player or my MP3 that will be even greater.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I'll try to use my visulization. and just like indidoc1 said: I can remember the concept. maybe I should have a positive way about this---- be happy with the remembered concept, at least I remember somthing even I am old and then do some repetition.

Is the answer E. I am not sure.RNA transcriptase ia na Rna dependent Dna polymerase that requires an RNA template for synthesis of new DNA. Not quite sure of RNaseP role is.
