Keepgoing, very sorry to hear about your granpa. It is a hard time for you I know but be brave dear. This time will also pass and sweet memories of him will always stay with you. Keep working hard and keep going.

Now i cant remeber where i have studied abt H antigen i think i know i have read it somewhere cant recall where so goes my Tukka D
now we all werent thinking u of Psycho buddy cos apparently there is a little itsy bitsy psycho hidden in all of us who surfaces from within during intense pressures so its kinda norm for the most of us to snap. And besides once in a while we all need a reality check which obviously does us good.

agree with NNL once again on that that we should pick up speed now thats true its been 4 months fm now we have been studying and sadly have not finishe dour 1st yet  ...indidoc I i call myself true turtle cos i have nothing else to do besides study and where u and all other members either are working or are in internship period so ur slow speed is reasonable but for me what u wud u call???i dodnt know myself either so i juz pray and plzz u all too pary god give me wisdom...sigh

Hi to everyone, including the newbe cardio!!
I don't have a lot of time to post right now, and I haven't had the time to read all of the recent posts to catch up, so sorry for that, but I just wanted to post really quickly that I have STARTED STUDYING, FINALLY!!, this is my third day studying.
I am only been able to study for about 3 or 4 hours a day, but at list that's somethng, I've finished the first 8 chapters of immunology!!!
So I think that I with the help of God and your prayers, I am finally in the right track, and I won't loose it this time.
Take care, everyone, and I will try to be more involved and in touch with this great thread in the forum, you are all in my prayers, each and everyone of you!!..GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi every one:
What is going on? This thread is mighty quiet as NNL mentioned earlier and it is not good. I know that I do not post when I am down and under and not doing anything. So we need to keep posting if not every day but at least every other.
I am done with micro and starting with immuno tonite. Things are going slow cos I had a lot of other things going on. But thanx be to GOD the wave is quietting down and I need to have a very productive November. I have registered for March-May period and has no intention of getting an extension or even not getting it done by March.
We started in the summer and I do not think that any of us has reached hi/her goals.
Let us post what we have done so far and lte us bring some life to this thread.
I'll start the progress report:
Sorrrily, I have only accomplished first read in biochem and micro.
Plz everyone(I mean everrrryone) report ur progress. Let us infuse some new life into this thread.

Hi Zade! and hello to everyone!!
Well, I started really nicely to read immuno as I said in my last post but today I didn't study, hopefully tomorrow I wil continue.
Progress:
Well, when we started I did read a couple of chapter of Biochem, I thnk maybe just 3 or 4. And then completely stopped my studying.
Right now I am starting the 12th chapter in Immuno, I am using Kaplan notes, and I am trying to get Jawetz immuno so that I can also read from that one when I am finished with Kaplan.
I payed for the exam back in June, I think, and I was suposed to do it in Sep-Oct-Nov period, but in the past 5 or 6 months I haven't studied, so I asked for an extension and now I have until Feb 07 to do the exam.
Practically I am starting from this Month (NOV), so I only have NOV-DEC-JAN-HALF OF FEB, to study for this exam, so it's 3.5 months, it is very little time, it is not the 6 months I was planning to study, I wasted so much valuable and precious time, and now I will have to do the exam in Feb no matter what or I am going to have to repay it, and I don't now if not taking the exam in feb, is going to be a bad thing for the final ECFMG diploma, I don't know if it counts as a failed exam, or if they put it in your record, I am going to have to ask, but anyway I can't afford to pay another exam, so I HAVE TO MAKE IT IN ONLY 3 MONTHS.
Since I have so little time, I plan to come to my house after work, eat, and study from 5 pm to 10 pm, taking 5-10 min break every hour. I NEED TO STICK WITH THIS SCHEDULE!!
So I will only post about once a week, so that I won't get distracted, because if I log in, I end up reading a lot in this forum and I loose track of time, but at list once a week I will check on you guys to see how everyone is doing, and to tell you my progress report.
Take care, just imagine, by this time next year we are going to be going to interviews, God willingly!!!!, let's keep up and go for it.

Well its too quiet in here
I m planning for around Mid Jan done with my first review n started with 2nd took a break n kinda cant get back on track i m doing Patho n Genetics at the Same time. Well Novak U r right abt one thing if God Wills then we all wud be giving interviews same time next yr. And we can do it, its not we arent capable of doing its just that we r so caught in things going around us we arent able to concerntrate more on Studies then we shud Like i had planned to give Cs around Mid Dec n yet still i havent done Step 1. but there is an old Poet who once said something very intriguing he said " Man work urself higher to such a level that Even GOD comes down n asks u Wht U want for urself AS Destiny "

My Dearest Friends,
Specially Mytime,Indidoc,Keepgoing,Zade,NewnLost,Novak,Coolsuch & all those who have PM me & had me in their prayers. A VERY BIG THANKYOU to you all.
Guys,gals.... you dont know how much it means to have such good,sincere friends when you are blue & all on your own.
I apologise for taking all this time to report. Actually this time, i was answerable to a lot of situations around. You all know that i had everything planned for me,
my exam, my visit back home......was counting days till i can see my mom at the airport & hug her. Its been 1165 days now since i have seen her. I still remember the time when we were in Med school & me and a few of my friends used to share a room in the hostel.We all used to study together......they didnt visited home for weeks & i was so crazy that i just couldnt stay away without seeing my mom's warm smile . My friends teased me so much for it but they knew that its just something i cant help myself with......and now ........cant say more friends........i know you all can feel it as most of you are miles away from your moms too.
So.......here i am now guys......sharing stuff with the most sweet people i have with me.
I have me exam scheduled for 30 Nov, but i have so much to do, i think i will extend it till Jan . Sometimes, i just feel like running away from all this to visit mom back home. But after all the efforts i have already put in.........i dont know......
Actually its all because of Patho & Pharma. I just need some more time to finish them.
Lets fix things up & I WILL BE AT A WAR WITH THIS EXAM!!
I am doing Patho this month (with revision of the rest of the subjects with questions ) & next month Pharma.
Guys, if you all want we can set a schedule & start off with our revision together. NewnLost i know you were all ready for it.
Indidoc was actually deciding on doing Anatomy with me when he left for his visit.
& Mytime is a REAL SWEETIE......she is all set for anything always.
You are all welcome to share our point of views of how this can be done too.
Guys, SERIOUSLY .....LETS DO IT PPL.You all know we dont have enough time.
Lets help each other & fight with this together. Hand in hand ok..

I know you have asked me a lot of times regarding my NBME scores & you now have an answer to all of your queries. I didnt give it buddy because i dont want to do it before i complete my subjects.

Hey FOCUS it's so good to have u back...i absolutely know what u mean we were all dying slowly coz...alll this is a drag and we all have huge commitments other than this test but.like u say...that's what family is all about. My suggestion would be that someone take the lead and make sure that everyone posts at least their updates..u'll probably have to write here as well as pm all ur pals.See what the common missing factor is....or pick up a cool subject that everyone like and do no more than 10 pages of that each day...but no less either...Keep punishment for anyone who waivers....at the same time each gets to revise or study whatever subjects they already are doing...just 10 more of the common one to be added....no need for chatting and stuff...do it right here..Chatting might get a bit too much.Every night report in and the leader sud punish the one who hasn't done those 10 pages....that is his/her responsibility just like the main subject is aperson's own. No excuses for anyone...be tough.
Avtually we have started something similar with our group and our subject is B.Sc. with a random chapter selection to keep it interesting and keep us going with the curiousity of what next. One hour in the day isn't asking much....cut an hour from slep our lunch or something...that's it and then u are all holding hands...via books and u'll feel closer and will be able to pull each other upto mark but u'll all have to be on the same page at whtever hour of the day...it's not a competition it's about increasing ur strength to achieve something as one. You are absolutely correct....its all about increasing your strength to achieve something together & its truely a great feeling.I envy you all.Moreover i am PM you all as Mytime suggested because i lot of you.
