Hi everyone,
Thank you allllllllllllllll.
i am gonna write a very short note for new n lost.
We are all praying for you so have faith and keep doing it.i know you might seem burn out but this is the testing time and get up and do it.its just a omnth more and then you take the exams.You not only take it you ace it.i can already pisture this .new n lost gets an envelope frm ECFMG, asks his mom to open it and there 99 and few minutes later post it on this forum.the first one in the post to get it and then we follow.Right indidoc,keepgoing,ZAde,novak,lily,molu.So ,plssssssssssss study hard so we can see a 99 on this post .

Hi everyone..I was passing through when i came across ur thread and decided to jot in a few words.looks like u guys are doing a gr8 job.Please visit our forum sometime..it'll be gr8 exchanging notes.I'm presently doing physiology....i'ma mom and it's taking me forever.I plan to take the test sometime early next year.
Could u guys...do something we did in our thread...page31....list out all the stuff u have done up until now and the sources from which u have done it....also maybe ur time line and goals...Sure would appericiate that.
It'll be easier asking for help and discussing.

Hey Friends,
I hope you all are doing good. As far as i am concerned,i am feeling blue right now because i am lagging behind my schedule these days. I planned on completing Physio last week but it dragged on to this wednesday.....and its Thursday today & i still have Respiratory & Renal......two major sections remaining.
You all know i have guests over and i never complain because i think they bring blessings......but man......this time i am really losing time. They will be leaving comming Saturday so i hope to catch things up by then. Just though of confiding with you all because its getting tough now.
Keep going & Zade.....i have done Biochem, Physio,Micro and Immunology uptil now. I dont know how i am in these subjects because i still need to do questions.
Wow......just a few months to go & look at me.
Zade......i will be doing Anatomy from Kaplan + High yield Neuroanatomy,Anatomy and Histology. Will check up the Road Map for Pelvis & Perinium .
Keep Going....i hope you can figure out my situation now & my reason for not being able to post earlier. Thanks for waiting & starting anatomy with me buddy.
I asked you for some schedule you are comfortable with because i really dont want to push things , but i guess you missed it. Anyway, let me state what i plan & tell me what you think.
Anatomy Schedule according to Kaplan Anatomy:
Day 1. Back & Nervous System + Early embryology
2. Thorax + Histology(Chapter 1&2)
3. Upper Limb + Histology (3 & 4)
4. Lower Limb +Histology (5 & 6)
5. Abdomen +Histology (7 & 8)
6. Pelvis & Perinium +Histology (9 & 10)
Then will start with neuroanatomy.
Anyone else will be more than welcome to join in.

Hi Keepgoing,
Just visited the forum today. If you ask me buddy, i think subject wise approach is good for the first read & once you get the hang of stuff, you can go for a system based revision. Atleast, thats what i am doing friend.
Rest is all upto u, if you feel comfortable the other way, its your style of doing things, so maybe you can go for it.
Rest of the gang......my guests left yesterday & i am just a cleanliness freak, so i am just doing laundery,hover,changing sheets......anything & everything to get my place in order again. So here goes my weekend, but i feel happy in a clean & tidy place so its ok.
Will be all set then. Need your prayers too buddies.
Another thing i need to clearify is..........i am Always logged in because i dont log out.(had some problems with the password initially which bothered me a lot) This is why you always see me online even though i am not. So if i am not replying back to anyones instant msg buddy......please dont take me wrong. I am actually not there.

I have just finishing up on Pathology n gonna Start on Anatomy By Tuesday Insha Allah
From Today Excatly one Month left makes me jittery n literally sends shivers down my spine n then kaboom ! my mind goes BLANK n it takes me an hour to realize it was just a panic attack like the one a claustrophobic gets when he gets stuck in an elevator .......

It has been a while since I posted but I do visit everyday. Well on to my slow progress. I am having a heck of a time trying to keep micro into memory. It has been a long time.
I have just finished bacteriology in kaplan, have not done the q's in the back yet. I am going over bacteriology with MMRS and first aid in order to increase retention. I also plan to do the audios/videos.
I have a lot to do and need to pick up my pace a bit but I have been tired from running aroun with my kids trying to get them ready for school next week. Thank GOD for an extra day off on Monday. Will try to put it 2 good use.
New n lost: hang in there. M yprayers r with u. I have no doubt that u will make it.
BTW what did u use for patho and what r u using for anatomy.
Coolsuch: It is good 2 hear from u. Good luck with ur studies and hopefully ur new job, but please do not take ur eyes off the prize: USMLE. Let us when u get ur engine running again.
Focus: What r u studying now?
Keepgoing: I agree with focus: first read should b by subject and 2nd read can b done by system.
Lily, Novak, Indidoc: Where r u guys? Just post to let us know that u r OK.

Hi there ppl.
For Pathology n I can only say one thing Start With Goljan Goljan n GOLJAN. this Guy is Really good n believe me its not hype when ppl say that they actually heard him saying the KEYS to solve a question. i have attempted Patho questions n believe me wht ever he has said eventually it is there in the question n u actually remember him saying it. Plus since u have time, do look up things with it like add notes there r certain things he has left out i mean he has hasnt stressed upon but comparatively he has covered enough for a 85% for Pathophysio n 95 % if u actually listen to him very intently he has integrated Biochem n Micro too. Follow the Kaplan with it so if u miss out anything then u can add it from internet n other books but believe me guys GOLJAN is the best REview Lecturer u have heard.
H.Y for Anatomy with Kaplan.............
Guys u have time to utilize the material infront of u, i mean integrate things, like Zade i had the same Problem of retention in MICRO n the that helped me out was corelation of diseases n I have a Drill Sgt. Believe me i m very grateful to my friend who is really pushing me thru these things n hammering with revision u will never be able to do Micro unless u discuss it one on one. u have to devote atleast a couple of hrs to discussion with no interruptions n u will see the difference.
Cant Stress on it HARD Discussion guys a productive Discussion is more fruitful than u can imagine n it saves time a lot.
I m counting on ur prayers u Guys esp u Coolsuch ( thanks for painting a good visualization buddy  )
if u guys need any help i will be glad to offer it anytime n anyday

My dear friends, I am so so happy to come back. The relocation part does not finish yet and I am still very busy at work, but I almost finished packing and my family left today, so I’ll have some time at night for study. I am sorry for disapper again, but I read your posts almost everyday, lots of you made great progress, I am very happy for you. It’s so moving this summer time for me, but I am happy that it’ll be over in a month. Now I return to the USMLE world. I promise that I won’t dissapper again.
Some of you suggest that we should post what we have done and when are we going to take the exam. I agree with that and I am looking forward to seeing that. I am done part (small part  of the Biochemistry and I am planning to take the step 1 at the Spring time next year. Is anybody going to start a new subject? Or did anybody just start a new subject? I’d like do it with you.

now that i m thru i think i might as well squeeze out time fr some more lines...
well, i hav come to d end of my gruelling days. today is d last one so computer permitting, i'll get back to my regular posts frm tomorrow.
i had mentioned abt my frustration wth micro in d last post. well, u guys r my inspiration.

n suddenly my problems appear to b of no consequence at all. i decided one thing
AS kaplan sez....""NO ONE'S GONNA GIVE U EXTRA CREDIT FR SUFFERING..... SO WHY SUFFER AT ALL?""
if i didnt have time to go into micro, i found another way out. i started doin biochem n genetics Qs n Qs on whatever lil micro i knew.
it has got me going again. i m all set to put in my best now.

gotta post small coz i m still not sure if i'll get it thru.
continuing... d Qs have perked me up coz i could score well n hav regained some confidence. yes! i know biochem n genetics well.... thats my weak link turned into my strongest point!!!
i m gonna give it my all n finish micro + immuno starting frm scratch n with a new perspective... doing from kaplan+ MMRS.
will definitely do it in a week. lily, if u wanna start wth me, i'll b very happy.
lets see how things work out but i feel deep inside that d worst is over by far.

Good to have you all back. I was really missing all of you & felt bad scrolling down on the forum to find our coolsuch group somewhere among the lower mails.
You all really mean a lot friends.........Lily, Indidoc,new_lost,Zade,Keepgoing,Coolsuch and the others.
Yeah Indidoc.........you are right, Zade Lily Coolsuch New_lost are all really inspiring ppl. Even you Indidoc.......keeping up with all the stuff & night duties........thumbsup buddy.
New_lost............you will do it REAL GOOD.........I JUST KNOW YOU WILL DO IT WITH FLYING COLOURS........& deep within you know it very well too. So just go by your instincts & stop panicking friend ok. Take in some happy foods(a little icecream, chocolatebar) whenever you feel these panic attacks & you will feel good.
As far as i am concerned............
here's me: I am doing Behavioural sciences nowadays because may be i am a little fatigued right now , so i decided switching the subject. Another reason was, i REALLY NEEDED to do the remaining physio & tie loose ends as well. So i thought a light subject with the big gulp would work.
I will be finishing it on the 10 of september INSHALLAH INSHALLAH & will start with the next subject.
If you guys think this is a good pace.........thanks buddy for backing me up.......but deep within actually i think its not.I have my exam scheduled on the 30 of November.
Its just 3 months (infact less than that taking off the last few days). This is my first revision, i need atleast 2 more with the questions. I know Patho takes time at least 20 days.
I have Anatomy, Pharma, Pathology remaining and these are big giants. I am not even sure if anyone of you will be there doing them with me. So, basically i know where i am right now.
I cant write more for myself right now friends.But you are all in my prayers.
