if a patient complaints for tingling a numbness in the arm lateral aspect what would you suspect
- brachial plexus lesion or
- cervical root lesion

Brachial plexus lesion

I would say Brachial Plexus, because the symptom does not appear to be distributed in a precise dermatome. You should check the details of the question stem...

Dermatome distribution? ... root lesion.

Nerve supply distribution? ... plexus, trunk, or nerve lesion.

I may be wrong in this one... Really, not my strong subject.
