eosinophils work in type I HS too, but ADCC that kills parasites is type II

According to Goljan, destruction of helminths (which are coated by IgE abs) is by Eosinophils.so it is ADCC which is TYPEII hypersensitivity

thanks to all for ur replies

ok

Be careful about what the question is asking..elimination is via Type 2 HS, but allergic responses or symptoms such as wheezing and urticaria after parasitic infections are due to Type 1 HS response to parasite coated with IgE.

I missed a qbank question on this that was asking what type of HS was causing SYMPTOMS not what type of HS for elimination.
