I think the correct answer should be 'a'. ACh is formed from Acetly Coa and Choline at the nerve ending, similar to NE. Kinesin(anterograde) and dynein (retrograde) are transport microtubules.

answer says c is correct choice. I think it cannot be packed in vesicles at nerve terminals (not sure about the systhesis... I ll have to look it up)

http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/sigma/rbi-handbook/sg... mentions about Acetyl choline being formed at nerve terminal and packaged into vesicles. Acetyl coA is formed in mitochondria in cell body and then transported to nerve ending where it meets choline that has been brought into the nerve ending . Both are acted upon by Choline Acetly Transferase and put into vesicles which are released when Calcium comes in.

Bottom line- According to megs article , a specific low affinity Ach transporter is responsible for uptake of the transmitter from the cytoplasm to the vescicle. It is inhibited by L(-) vesamicol

answer is A. Acetyl CoA is transported TO the nerve terminal, choline intake occurs at the nerve terminal; there Choline Acetyl transferase catalize the formation of acetylcholine which is then stored in vessicles until its release.

Acetyl CoA travels to the nerve terminal and through the catalitic action of Choline Acetyl Transferase gets convined with Choline, which uptake occurrs in the nerve terminal to form Acetylcholine. Therefore the right answer is C

Ups sorry disregard my previous anser and stick to the first one. Correct answer is A. I thought I've erased the second one. Again, the right answer is A. Synthesis and storage in the nerve terminal
