hey guys I am in need of some advice..
FMG will graduate 2007
Step one 192 taken twice
Step two will take in August
All clinicals done in US
Okay letters of recs..nothing spectacular..no research
does anybody think i have a chance in Neurology..that's what I really want to do..or should I be practical and stick to FP..please i really need some advice on my chances

you have a chance, especially if you can ace step 2ck... the best advice i can give you is if you aren't scoring high (>60% on uw, >550 on nbme; then don't take ck just yet) You can apply this year, but concentrate on ck (worry about applying, ps, etc after you give ck, or you run the chances of messing up on both ck and the match) a 90 (or maybe even high 80's) on ck should get you a neuro spot somewhere either this year or next year.... basically to make a long story short, put your heart and soul into ck, and worry about the match later....
