I graduated 7 years back from med school. Last year I took step 1 and scored 79. I have my CK coming up next month. I did NBME and it showed me a borderline pass.I need your advice should i take step 2 and pass with low score or should i postpone it? I dont have an option to postpone as my CS is in august . Postponing the exam would not help me as there can be only one Extension as per ECFMG rule and i wont be able to take exam in that period and will lose the fees. Please advice me what should i do?
Please help me deciding. Your sincere input needed.
P.S. I dont need visa for residency.
