Catecholamines will increase blood glucose levels (epinephrine via increasing glycogenolysis in liver,increases hepatic output of glucose therefore plasma glucose level increases. As Plasma glucose increases-hyperglycemia ,it is the main stimulus for insulin secretion..so how come decrease in insulin levels...plz explain ..

It can be said in this way that in stress all stress hormones are in action(cortisol,growth hormone,glucagon,catecholamines -epinephrine) ,Insulin tends to decrease in stress situations...
