I got confused because the image shows that these are bacteriostatic drugs...right? And both the aminoglycosides and beta lactams are bacteriocidal...

g..just like the am-gent combo often used for serious UTI. amp to take care of a possibel entercococci infection, and gent for the gram negatives.

(did stronger effect than the addative effect of ecch)
ampicillin and tobramycin are synergitic against pseudomonas
