hi all
i took exam on friday for the second time...first time i got 73...179...
got registered for june again and i think i worked very hard ....iam a patient of migrain....and my headache got started on the morning i had exam.....usually i take a sleeping pill and go to sleep to avoid my severe pain.....but i had exam that day...how could i sleep....i cant pass the exam becoz i dont know what i did in exam...first 4 blocks i did in severe pain but in last three blocks,vomiting started....i used to do a full block with nausea and get up after last question and rush to the washroom for vomiting....i dont even remember what questions i got on exam.....but im so depressed that i will fail one other time....but luck is luck you cannot change it.......

Im sorry to hear that. Most important thing is you got up and fought despite nausea, vomit, sweat, headache, malaise, abnormal anxiety, and all prodromal symptoms. We're proud of you. Also miracles do happen.
Q? Is loperamide or lomitil or odanstrone{misspelled} contraindicated to control vomiting? But in any case you probably dont want any premedicaton. good luck.

hi
i dont know what you want to ask....ya i took a somatriptan for my headache but i didnt take any antiemetic...coz for that i had to see a doctor and take priscription n bla bla and i had exam in just few hours...i got up at 6 and had exam at 8am....but my dear drug didnt work out to subside my pain,coz only treatment for my mirgain is to go to sleep as soon as it starts....anyways .....please guys pray for me ....

Sorry to hear that. I did pre-medicated myself before exam with ibuprofen.
Some people in my med school took beta blockers to control palpitation and sweating.
with grace of God I have not needed them.

sorry about your horrible experience. just relax and pray for good scores. you may have done better than you thought. you will need better control for step 2 so the problem does not recur.
