why the rate of airflow continuously falls as the lung volume shrinks more and more????where is the airflow rate will be highest and the least in flow-volume loop....
plz describe me how these flow-volume loops change in obstructive and restrictive diseases....thanx in advance...

As the lungs volumes decreases the Resistance of airway increases and so decreaase the rate of airflow.......... at the two extreme end of airway the rate will be High and low respectively ,
