no need to say the different organisms. I just want to know how to differentiate them from apperance of the skin lesion.

for starters: herpes--vesicular lesion that can be latent {tiny blisterlike lesion}

someone else take chancroid

Herpes - you will have systematic symptoms (myalgia, fever,..)

Chancroid- does not have usually syst. symptoms

The rest you know.

herpes are blister like

chanroid first forms papules and then ulcer like lesions.......thats all i know

okay... lets c if this helps.. HERPES GENITALIS.. ulcerative.. small..(u can c this) PAINFUL RED LESION ..MANY OF THEM. LOOK LIL SLIMY SORT..

SYPHILTIC CHANCRE.. SINGLE HUGE CIRCUMCSRIBED wid thick borders(looks like dat).. it wil b red too... check out goljan's slides.. also big robbins..
