How do Amphetamine and Ephedrine work? A. displace norepi from the mobile pool B. decrease breakdown of Norepi C. increase receptors for Norepi D. inhibit MAO E. inhibit COMT Also: What are the effects of amphetamine and ephedrine on the heart and lungs? -Increased heart rate, via norepi on beta 1 receptors and -bronchodilation? (do they stimulate B2 receptors somehow?)

I'll also go with A... Amphetamines do increase HR but due to excess of it causes cardiac arrythmias ,possible MI and strokes But about bronchodilation i am not sure ,i think NE doesnot act on beta 2 receptors so how come bronchodilation...??????
