What is a B2 Microglobulin used for?

i think it is used as a prognostic marker of multiple myeloma right?

it is the amyloid after chronic dialysis.

Its part of the Major Histocompatibility Complex or HLA. Its the light Beta chain that functions to transport MHC class I molecules to the cell surface

and It is not sinthezised by the MHC, it carries the MHC I molecule superficial.

the answer is c

"bmicroglobulin is a part of MHC class I molecule and is required for MHC class I expression.Since MHC classI molecules provide the peptide-binding site for cytotoxic T-cell killing of virus-infected cell, a virus-infected macrophage(bone marrow derived) could not be recognizid by cytotoxic Tcell"

Correction to this guys, the question ru gave, the answer is not C, but actually E, i came across this question in my kaplan book and thats the answer they gave us, i think ru prob made a typo, and typed c, but just wanted to cleaer that up.
