This is from Q-Book: "The correct answer is D. The symptoms described were casued by drug-induced histamine release. Of all the drugs listed, only tubocurarine produces a substantial amount of histamine release." Isn't tubocurarine a non-depolarizing NMJ blocker which prevents deopol. at end plates and causes skeletal muscle relaxation. It can be reversed by AchE-Inhibitors. What does it have to do with HISTAMINE??? Can anyone explain the mechanism?

Ok nevermind I got it: Tubocurarine blocks ANS Ganglia and releases histamine which causes decrease BP, and may cause bronchial secretion and bronchospasm. It is implicated in MALIGNANT HYPERTHERMIA.

See it's not related to this ques but you always remember these causes hisTAMine release where TAM stands for tubocurarine, amphotericin, morphine ....
