hi folks
i have one question
if i want to apply to a programe for both preliminary and categorical
then i have to apply separately or together
i am reaaly confused

you apply for both together and it doesn't cost extra to apply for both in the same program (it costs the same if you apply to prelim or cat or both)...applications are per program, not per type of residency. Look at the thread below for more information. Your lor and personal statement will have to be the same for both prelim and cat in that program.
