PCO2 =33-45 mmHg

PO2=75-105 mmHg

These normal ranges are right?

I always thought PCO2>40 is abnormal....!

Nadia,
Know these:

H+: normal: 36-44 (more than 44-Acidosis, and less than 36-Alkalosis)
pH: normal: 7.35-7.45 (less than 7.35 -Acidosis, and more than 7.45 -Alkalosis)
CO2: norm: 35-48 (more than 48-Acidosis, and less than 35 -Alkalosis)
HCO3: norm: 22-28 (less than 22 -Acidosis, and more than 28 -Alkalosis)

Don't stress over exact ranges... Just get the general idea of whats normal and what number would be way above or below normal. smiling face
