Anyone preparing for Step 2. PLEASEEEEE DO NOT READ THE FIRST AID BOOK. Kaplan was good. I wish now that I had read Kaplan (revision) in the last one month when I read first aid. If you still want to read it, JUST read the tables, nothing else. I actually lost a few specific questions because I read first aid where many things are generalized. Ex: T.capitis is caused by trichophyton. First aid gives that all tenias are caused by trichophyton, microsporum and epidermophyton. The question was a clear history pf tinea capitis and they asked the cause. ALL THREE were in the choices!!!! Many more like this. Also a very few questions I would say came out of First Aid and UCV. Kaplan was excellent and now I repent for not having revised Kaplan in the last days. Also Kaplan Q - Bank, NMS are NOWHERE NEAR THE original test. I got more than 90% correct in those mock tests. IN the exam, the questions are almost similar to the Kaplan and NMS and similar in severity also. BUT THE CHOICES they give are entirely different from what we practise in the mock tests. If I had prepared in that fashion of questioning a little bit more I could have easily gotten 90. What to do now? Good luck
