Nephrogenic DI and answer is G

  #3

G increase ADH, increased serum osmolarity, decreased urinary osmolarity.

defect in V-2 receptor---> nephrogenic diabetes insipidus---> ADH always increases in defect of V-2 receptor.

Collecting tubules in this case do not response to ADH---> loss of water---> decrease in urinary osmolarity and increase in serum osmolarity.

Agree... Nephrogenic DI.

But in this case I thought ADH would be normal, not Increased... Anyway normal was not a choice...

Thanks.

ADH is increased, because receptors doesn't work so the body gets it as lack of ADH and then more ADH as compensation. This happens to all kinds of insensitive receptors.

Agree it's G..
