Lippincott:

propranolol is contraindicated in chronic CHF. So we use ACE inhibitors in CCHF.

propranolol decreases mortality after MI.

ACE inhibitore must be started as soon as after MI.

I'm wondering if propranolol or ACE inhibitors are used after MI???

or course they are used after MI, but according to the patient's condition

if no heart failure---> propanolol can be used

if with heart failure---> ACE can be used
