yups this is medial meniscus... usualy a tear of medial meniscus is the cause of pain on exertion in these kind of patients .... usually tested for patients that are either elderly/females with history of fall or athletes that exert ... the investigation of choice for these patients is MRI because medial meniscus isnt visible on x-ray ... thanks

there is a triad: ACL tear, Medial meniscus injury, and MCL damage that happens when someone is clipped from the side. (common football injury)
