well...the question is regardin the sensations that are carried to the brain through VPL nucleas of thalamus ...
these are usually touch, pain, temperature sensations...
anyway... was just correlating with the fact...

PRE CENTRAL GYRUS is MOTOR
POST CENTRAL is sensory...

to pick out the CENTRAL SULCUS....note these points

1. THE SULCUS DIPPIN ON THE MEDIAL SURFACE OF BRAIN
2. THE LONGEST SULCUS ON THE SUPERIOR SURFACE
3. USUALLY IN THE MIDDLE....

I hope that will help you in finding the areas

so if you applly this.... D is the right option smiling face thanks

  #6

Waq, that makes sense! thanks.

So then the answer must be the sensory post central gyrus (D)

And the motor precentral gyrus is (B)

i thought it was E

can anyone explain why the answer is not E and why D?because to me E is the post central gyrus too....im confused

  #8

E would be butt and leg,
D would be hand and face.
