Hi all,
I am an IMG with qualified medical degree and my school is listed on IMED. But my major was Accupuncture although we learnt all medical courses(including basic and clinical medicine). However I was just rejected by ECFMG indicating what I learnt is not medicine. I am prepareing to write an appeal letter. Hope to see whether anyone here has similar experience? Or does anyone know who shall I appeal to? Once I am rejected, is there still hope to get approved? Any suggestions from you guys are really needed and deeply appreciated.

Did you get a medical degree from your school? MD, MBBS, MBCHb, etc? Then you might have an argument. You might have to show that your accupuncture curriculum is the same as the medical degree. And the appeal is going to be through ECFMG.

Good luck

Thank you very much for your advice, bbb. I got bachelor of Medicine which is accepted by ECFMG. I will try to appeal again.
Best wishes
