For the record, the only two organisms that are oxidase positive are the two Vibrios.

Also, c) is spelled H. pylori. A pillory is something like the stocks that they used to lock people into and throw stuff at them; d) is spelled N. meningitidis. The organism is V. vulnificus. Sorry to pick on you Cedrick, but you must get used to proper spelling in order to prepare for writing med orders. Hospitals track errors very closely nowadays. I'm old so I can be picky.....:-)

I agree with J.
Vibrio causes watery diarrhea.
vibrio cholera and vulnificus are associated with shellfish
vibrio parahaemolyticus is associated with raw or undercooked seafood.
(too bad because I love sushi!) smiling face
