Isolated premature closure (craniosynostosis)of the sagittal suture result in a long narrow skull(scaphocephaly) with a slightly greater than normal total circumference..with an early fusion of a single suture there usually are no signs of increased intracranial pressure...Craniosynostosis of multipl sutures ,often is associated with increased intracranial pressure...
