1. if for religious reasons, parents of a 15 yrs old tell doc not to transfuse blood to the kid in surgery even necessary. what shld doc do?
2. if a competent adult refuse transfusion due to religion, what shld doc do?

in first case do not listen to parents
in second u have to listen to the pt (but of course should let the pt know the consequences)
