Kaplan Qbank USMLE

My score in UW are in 50%. It tells you, for each Q, the percentage of people who go it wright. And I noticed that I seem to be getting right mostly the Qs that over 50% of people are answering correctly. What does this mean? What can I do?

Study the material that you are getting wrong but most important review the questions.
Some are more difficult and those are the one's you need to focus on.

Good luck!!

I am facing the same problem. My score in UW right now is 53%. Dont understand how to interpret the questions. They have totally new topic questions that i almost everytime have to google to find something about.

Hey dont feel bad... Im on the same boat 59%... I tend to read vefry fast and skip vital details described in a very subtle way on the stem question . Read the explanations and take notes, my experience so far explanations are a great complement for kaplan notes.

Regards

Guayoman... UW is a pain in the butt... the questions are very tough even if you had read kaplan notes several time. What was recommended to me was to use it as a learning tool, to practice under time pressure and overcome the frustration of facing a question you just don't know WHERE FROM HELL IT CAME FROM???!!

Relax man, if you review all the info in UW your chances to have a good score are quite good (check the thread)

I have improved a little. Several tests with score of 65%. Average is now 54%. Only 13 tests taken with 46 Qs, timed mode, all subjects...the works. I donīt have much time so I review the Qs I got wrong that most peaople got right, then the ones I got right that most people got wrong (in case I got licky and didnīt really know the answer). I am a tiny little less worried, thanks to Isther and that my score seem to be consistently improving.

I also find it relaxing to be able to right abouot it. I encourage you guys to do the same.

I honestly donīt know why Iīm getting 65s. I like it though!

What I'm trying now is that I look at the cummulative performance and make a list of the worst subjects (the ones you need more improvement on), and re-read those from Kaplan, then from Crush.

Right now I'm experimenting writing down the Qs from my worst subjects. That way you kinda play with the information in more ways than just reading it. Also you freshen it up in your memory.

Basically just work on your weak areas.
