hey guys
a quick comment i m in a little hurry ,
i ll write in dataill later, but just wanted to say is that pharma shdnt be done right in the beginning , cz everyy one says its a volatile subject and it just flies away frm ur brain ,many of my friends who just gave the exam ,and good reall good marks, they all say that ,and many ppl onthi sforum too say that .
so my choice wud be immuno and micro.
hope to see u guys soon. majority wins so dunt worry ,we ll go wz the flow

Hi friends,
I too agree with seem's point that pharm is a difficult subject to retain in our brain.
But it is a wise thing to go through the notes at least once so that a last minutes booster will have the desired effect, so to speak.

I didnt know they had a doctors day too!
Now I dont even know if I am a doctor any more?!

hey guys ,
man i m lagging behind ,i have started wz medical genetics , INSHA ALLAH ill be done wz it till th e5th of july ,but wht abt my other subjects , i really wanna start immuno an dmicro wz u guys .
ok now how many of us r doen ,i think jaide shrunt r don e,and the rest ,i dunt know who is done ??
i m gonna try my level best to start doing stuff ,cz i m off 4 2 days so i ll definetly try to do as much a s possible .
now its time to kill my self ,but other wise also i wasnt wasting my tim e,,mann really ,its not igonarable stuff , but INSHA ALLAH ,NOW I LL DO IT .
jaide i think th enext target is going to be immuno and micro ,cz in immuno we really need biochem,i started wz immuno b4 biochem but i cudnt do it cz i didnt know bichem , now i think it ll b eeasy for all of us ,plus it wud b ekind of a revisison ,not exactly revision ,bt u know we wud b eusing biochem ,here and ther , im ean molecular biology .

today after work i ll try to study sumthing and then tomorrow i can study ,the whole day ,INSHA ALLAH .

Hey seems , it is almost impossible for me to study on the weekends when every one is home ,so I could not make any progress today , as expected.
I am on chapter 14 and genetics is still untouched. During the month of July , while I have guests in my home , I know it is impossiblel for me to do more than one chapter a day , no matter how hard I try. So please guys , feel free to move on to immuno.
I know I would not be able to finish biochem and genetics until 14th of July 
I don't know how will I manage to keep pace with you guys. For the time being this is the maximum time I can put into my studies and I do not want to just read thru a subject and do not understand it .I don't know what to do????

ok...so if we go by l/n then ch 1,2(gen micro,med imp bacteria) should keep us extremely ocupied till the next 4 days...or less...(110 pgs)......

Hi
I am also a graduate of 1995 DMC, Pakistan. I dont call myself very old. You can call me senior or experienced...this sounds positive and encouraging and it feels that i didnt waste my time while i wasnt in usmle circuit. I have just decided to study from today and inshallah will attempt it in may or june next year bcoz i am working 7 hours and hardly get 7 hours of study time a day.

I concur with continuing with Immuno/Micro. Of course I am biased as I have lagged behind in biochem to date. My research entails immuno and molecular biology so I feel confident in making up the difference. In fact Flow I'm in your neighborhood with biochem. LOL....the Tour de France just came to mind when comparing the different stages (subjects/contents) for usmle prep. Sigh.....if only for performance enhancing substances! JUST KIDDING!

I wanted to post my query to your group and if anyone can help.
I just finished chap1 from kaplan notes.My very first read.It was so confusing!!You know its been a while since I read biochem and I am soooo weak in that subj.here is problem.Which book should I refer to understand some concepts.I am very confused about Nucleic acids.Also,where do we do questions from???????
And,how do we what is important to read.

Hi everyone ! GL with micro and immuno . Are you planning to do micro first or immuno? Oh well .....doesn't matter much to me , as I still have a lot to do before going for the next subject. 
Still struggling with chapter 14. Have one more hour to study and hopefully will finish it tonight. Better go back to books now.
