Ok some qs. from atopic u did over Thanksgiving...let's see how much everyone remembers..i don't ,keep confusing it through and through in fact will look at it again.

OK GUYS
LOOKS like major confusion going on.
After today's chap. of Biostats. we still have a longer Chap.2 of EPIDEmology which we have for tomorrow and day after.
THURSDAY is a break .....FRIDAY I'll post the Pharm required to be done and whatever else. Please don't get confused we are still at B.Sc.

Mytime, good to know that I am being missed here and my feeling are not one sided
So .... it is Pharmacology next.
Focus , I am glad that you decided to do pharmacology with us. You do not have to leave your group for that.They also need you. As this is your 2nd read ,so I guess you can manage more than one subject at a time and can do Pharmac with us and another subject with the other group. Just a suggestion
Target and Zenith, nice to hear from you and hope you guys will catch up soon.
I just gave a read to stats and it is ALL GREEK to me 
I am going to listen to the lecture now . I doubt very much if it will be of any help.

Hi Mytime and other friends
Thankyou for chosing to do pharma next. It seems that you plan to start off with pharma from Friday. I haven't done beh sc and have been stuck with some other problems including registration. Anyone else is planning to register? I will try to do Beh Sc along with Pharma as best as I can. My neuroanatomy is still remaining. It would be better that you could give us the target a few days earlier coz of job constraints I have to schedule things. Thankyou for taking over the charge and guiding us to finish our course in a better way.

you are doing fine.
1 Because the patient can only get through to the doctor if she finds a gap between the doctor's conversations, she begins dialing the doctor's office very frequently.
This is an example of variable interval reinforcement
[i.e., her reward or reinforcement (getting through) will occur at unpredictable time intervals].
2. Studying harder as the final approaches is an exam- ple of fixed interval reinforcement (i.e., the student's studying behavior increases in a set time interval to
avoid failing the course).
3. A medical student who allows himself a candy bar after every 50 pages of a physiology text is practicing fixed ratio reinforcement. He receives his reward
(candy) after a set number of responses (reading 50 pages).
4. The office worker who patronizes a vending machine in good working order is receiving continuous reinforcement because a reward (candy) will be obtained after every response (putting in money).
5. A gambler in Atlantic City will receive reinforcement on a variable ratio schedule, because an unpredictable number of responses (pulling the handle) will produce a reward (the payoff).
6. As in the first example, catching fish is an example of variable interval reinforcement because the reward (a fish) will occur at unpredictable time intervals.

Hi Guys
Good plan Mytime. So we start on Monday, thats cool.
My Patho is taking a lot of time. Just started with special & i am at GI (after skipping Haematology by the way) I listen to Goljan & then cram up.Although Goljan is an Amazing teacher & makes it a whole lot easier but it still took me some time to complete general.Maybe because i did Neoplasia etc from the big Robbins.
Unique, i know the last time i checked you were on Haematology. Where are you now buddy? r u doing questions too?
Mytime......thanks for volunteering to keep a check on my patho & questions. I know this might be scary, but Unique your patho will always be at the back of my mind & i will never forget to check it

Hey focus,
I just posted a message for you in the other thread.You can post your reply in any of the threads
Pathology is taking much more time than I expected. As you know I am reading after a gap of many years , so I have to look into Robbins very frequently. Goljan is wonderful but you should know your pathology and all other subjects before listening to him or cramming his notes .
I am not cramming and neither doing qs. except for the qs in Goljan's end of the chapter ones. I am only trying to understand the material and leaving the rest for my 2nd read.
Like most of us I can also study only half day . Pathology is such a lengthy and time consuming subject ....and now Pharmc with it.....it seems impossible right now  but hay,we are preparing for MLE out of our own choice ......arn't we???? So let us enjoy this journey and especially now , when no one of us is alone. We are together in this journey and each one of us has some promises to keep and miles to go before we sleep.

UNIQUE and FOCUS am starting path too.....if u see. UNIQUE JAIDE will be making sure u study.
Actually mixing all these subject with path will be tedious but fun and I for one am looking fwd to it. lets see how everyone does.....reading from different angles.
