dont get the sub question.but if i understand it the way i think:
if he has the symptoms normally ie generalised social anxiety u treat with an SSRI but since its not among the choices, 2nd option is an MAO Iinhibitor, but if he experiences it while on stage then its a beta blocker .eg propranolol

least i forget cos i have been guilty of that, u guys ben wondering about the figures in kaplan latest edition for bsc,even though its called a lattest edition, i have had to compare it with the edition befoe and the figures are still the same, yet to notice any difference but if i do will surely notify u guys.

Hey Guys no updates we are not waiting but moving now...Chaps. done are 3,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,15.
For tomorrow please do Chap.5 Human Sexuality and catch up on the rest.................
TARGET,ZENITH, SEEMS, others who are not there yet....
UNIQUE I made the q up from Chap.12 not Pharma....and that was exactly y I did it 'coz i wud have reacted like u. Go through it once again...likely u'll never forget it.
MEN is correct but women it's Generalized Anxiety disorder.

hi everyone!
better late than never.
it has been really hard and lonely for me, reviewing for this exam but I came across your thread and was encouraged to see a lot of lovely people just being there and supporting each other.
i am an IMG, graduated 2003 and i have been doing a little bit of clinical work. started reading since september but my pace has been really erratic. i hope to take the exam february-march 2007 as well so i'm hoping it will be ok if i join your group.
am doing patho now and will catch up with the readings on beh science!

I cud totally agree with UNIQUE but a little part of my brain says go for A. in the first one...since she is an adult.
Guys catch up Fast plz...we are almost done.....i'll give another day off soon so catch up...or do today's bit and catch up later....good Luck my friends.....

hi mytime and unique am down with the pharmac, the bsc was a huge success for me as it made me read and wont mind doing it over again for another subject, hopefully we can make it our main subject since its a lot bigger.l8r guys

have not started reading micro and practically been on the same page in my anat, well the issue is this since i dont read unless i have a deadline like we had in bsc, then i can as well work with that, maybe doing it with you guys and a deadline will make me open my book ,as long as its making me look at ma books ve accepted that as ma fate and decided to work with it at least at this stage of 1st read;D

Again this is acting eerie...anyway...I'll be out tomorrow but am giving Chap. 4 Substance abuse for tomorrow and nothing for day after......By wed. we sud be done with this subject..I mean book.
u guys are great.......others can catch up by Sunday........YIPPEE like Surya wud say or maybe NICE.

Yes , D is correct for Q1. Pt has a clear mind was competent when the consent was given. Doctor has to respect the pt's deciscion.
Second Qn- Well I am not reading the latest Kaplan
These syndromes are given in First Aid for differential diagnosis of Autistic disorders. That is all.
The answer is A--
It is autistic like disorder without marked language and cognitive delays. They are unable to show emotions or attachment to other people.Also associted with clumsiness and poor social behaviour.
B-This child does not exibit severe disbility. So it can not be Autistic.
C. In Childhood disintergrative disorder (CDD) they say the child develope normally till about 2 years and then become mentally retarded. So history exclude this condition.
D. Here again these children are said to be not mentally retarded and they have no difficulty other than with speech. In the Qn, the child has relationship problem with others.
E. Rett's Synd is an X linked condition seen only in Girls(Boys die at birth) It is associated with neurodevelopmental regression and mentl retardation according to the text.

Hey SEEMs welcome back..good to have u aboard.......its a good idea for u to start B.sc. so just pick it up and do 3 chaps. today...we have finished everything barring the first two chap. and 14. For today we are doing Chap. 4.....U sud add that to ur 3 chaps.. for today...do them before u eat or bathe or anything so u will have to finish up. Same for tomorrow...And u'll be done with us.....Pharm u can join when we all start it.
Am glad u had such a fun time at hom enow do them and us proud...bTW we missed u too.
