Mytime's plan of doing BSc. is declared successful even before it started as it has brought back some of our missed friends  
Welcome back target I am sure with the help of each other we all will reach the goal

Zenith, I do not mind starting with chapter 7 . As we have agreed that mytime should take the lead , I will follow the leader

Hi Friends
I have indeed come back from Canada. I am in a phase of jet lag and mild depression and also with little confusion. Depression is due to be alone again. Confusion in the sense that now i have exactly 30 months to finish MCC EE, USMLE STEP 2 and hopefully STEP 1. I don't know what to do?
Its nice that you guys are doing well. I am in thinking phase and trying to get out of jet lag and depression. Give me your suggestions.
What is all about Beh Sc thing?

Looks like the trick worked now about....Chap. 7..defense mechanism...........We all need to understand ourselves better so to a good start i suggested. that.
OLDKID i was feeling guilty abt u not being around so now i quit. U open Chap 7 of Kaplan today and do it like the rest it'll get u out of whatever state u are in.It's maybe couple of pages more than 10.
ZENITH i like u but i may have to whack you...it's about being together...comfort comes later...this is about support if u wander than u'll be alone...Anyway u'll be doing U other subject as per ur wishes so be a sport and get uncomfortable..honey. still love u.
TARGET..........Thank god this got u out for if u wouldn't have shown up i would have been a little let down. Now we are all going ahead together..so pals when u pick up the book think of a energy vibrant circle of all of us holding hands....through the books and u'll go on.
UNIQUE i don't know what i would do without u...u may not believe it but u have always inspired me..whatever ur output of the day.Thank you.
PROCTALGIA and JAIDE I know that u guys...haven't written in but i see u with ur books...so move along....we'll all report at our respective night times.

SEEMS kept u for the last 'coz everyone needs to know that this woman is vaccationing but with the plan...I mean she has her book on with her and plans to do the intended...I understand that she may not be able to check her mail daily though she never said that so she gets to do any 10 pages but not Ms. ZENITH OH..i love this...all i need is a stick in my hand...i already wear glasses...u see.
OK guys....Don't forget there'll be punishment for those who waiver....we have a whole lot of reasons and we can all do that easily....that's what the fight is all about. oldkid, so good to c u back! i'm sure u had a wonderful trip and are ready to attack your books. don't be overwhelmed with trying to plan your next 30 months - take it one day at a time - forget about what will happen tomorrow - focus on your today and use it wisely. tomorrow will bring enough worries of its own, so don't carry excess baggage today.
mytime: u're one convincing woman, aren't u???? I can imagine - if u were to ever become a professor, u'd be one helluva strict Prof.....
well anyways, i'll go with the flow and if chap 7 it is, then so be it.

Here I am reporting my progress :
There were so many "post weekend" things to do that I could not study during the day.
Started at 5 pm , listened to the defense mechanism lecture which is about 50 minutes and then read the chapter 7. It took me 2 hours altogether .
Now it is dinner break and I will come to pathology after putting the kids to beds.
Waiting to hear from the rest of the friends and tomorrows target.

Excellent....Istarted with immuno today...am on the Chap.7 so....u know i'll be done....u did so good..UNIQUE.

ok guys guess it was a good idea i joined in cos i was able to read my immunology and yet make out time for my bsc, well it took me more than an hour i guess even though i wasnt timing myself cos i had to listen to the video and then read but i did it
well so am going back to continue my immunology before i go to bed, target today was to finish the 1st 9 chapters, so chapter 10 tomorrow. thanks BOSS,your wish is our command.

I am doing immuno too and I see mytime and sss doing it also. I just wanted to ask u a question regarding ur study techniques for immuno. R u using KLN? And R u doing the videos aldo and r they helpful? I am presently just using KLN but I having at times difficulty understanding certain concepts.

(BSc- chapter 7) Actually it take more than one hour for chapter 7.

Everyone hasn't reported in but i expect everyone to have honestly done their bit...if someone hasn't they better do yesterday's and today's both....we are not interested in hearing y someone cudn't do it...Right?
So for today it's Chap.10.And guys its ur own doing don't keep praising me...if u were a bunch of teenagers where wud I be?
ZADE yes we are doing immuno from Kaplan...the lectures from what remember are good but u'll have to read once before to isten to them...in case u don't understand something look up some place else...if u don't have another book..google Zindabad!
Anyway u can ask us at the forum....am sure those who are done wud love to help.

hi everyone, just finished going through chapter 10, less pages than 7 so it took a shorter time to listen to the videos and go through the book.
well am going to have to return to my books now and complete my plan for today as the melatonin levels being produced in my body are increasing with the darkness..., guess thats evudence that i read it.

proctalgia: wow - how are u managing to do 3 subjects at the same time??? are u studying full-time or do you work?
i want to share some good news with my USMLE family - we bought a NEW HOUSE and are doing the final closing today and will be moving during the Thanksgiving weekend. i'm very excited but not looking forward to all the packing and unpacking. as you can see, my life right now is a crazy roller-coaster ride - because its a new house, hubby wants to dispose off all the old furniture and buy everything new - so the furniture hunt is on + its been so hectic at work off late + trying to balance all this commotion with some studying.
so friends: i'm so sorry but i'd like to be excused from our Beh Sc. study group. though i did finish my target for yesterday, i'm not sure how much i'll be able to read everyday till we move and settle down in our new house. i know i'm quitting very early in the game, but this is unavoidable. i knew that Nov would not be a very productive month and i was prepared for that. i'll try to read at my own pace and try to catch up with you guys. i feel very bad about this, but i just have too many things going on and i don't want to slow your pace of studying. i wish all of u good luck in your studies.
hopefully Dec will be a productive month for studying.

Zenith, congratulations on buying the new house. I know it is a great excitement but at the same time a lot of work . Actually I have just been through the same process. We remodeled our house and are still in the process of buying furniture. It has been the main reason of my very slow progress in pathology. I did not mention it here because I did not want you guys be bored with the details of my non-study activities . But I fully understand how hard it is to study when so much is going on in life....sigh....
Try to settle as soon as you can and get back to your studies. We all will be waiting for you.Enjoy your new house

Mytime, what other subject did you start along with Beh.Sc.
SSS sss , are you in mytime's study group? I mean the physical one in Houston ? Did you read 9 chapters of immuno in one day ? It is amazing.......

unique: thank you dear for your good wishes. i really appreciate it. you are so right - there're just so much work - its all so overwhelming at this point. and looking around for furniture - gosh, its such a pain - there's so much variety out there - one is baffled by the choices one has.
hmm, so u remodeled your house - that must be exciting!! congratulations!
Despite all that, you still managed to study Path - I think that is very commendable. You are my inspiration.......keep at it........

No ZENITH u are not excused....If UNIQUE can manage it so can u...it's just B.Sc. and just an hour.....don't listen to the lectures...now...do it when ua re rearranging on a walkman.For now...u can read first thing in the morning before u start the days agends...Who do u think will feel great at the end of the day. So keep at it it isn't much sweetie..we are with u in mind and spirit.

Sorry for my absence from the group. Though I had been reading your posts once in a while. I had nothing to report as such. I noticed that you guys have almost completed Beh Science which is indeed a nuisance to do. Also, Unique and Proctalgia are doing well and not to forget mytime too. I hope seems and target are also doing well.
I am planning to start with Patho again where I had left. I think there are 4 or 5 chapters remaining.
I just want you guys to tell me what subjects you have studied so far and when are you planning to write the exam. Lets do it in a clear fashion

MICRO: First read finished from KLN, Videos not done
IMMUNO: First read finished from KLN, Videos done
PATHO: First read finished from Goljan, Audion not completely done.
GROSS ANATOMY, EMBRYOLOGY, HISTOLOGY: First read done from KLN, Video not done
BIOCHEMISTRY: First read done from KLN, Videos done completely.
remaining subjects: PHYSIO from BRS, PHARMA, BEH.Sc from KLN.
Exam proposed month: JULY

UNIQUE I know u are the one we sud all be proud of......I'm doing Immuno. with B. Sc. and yes SSSS is from my physical study group......but she didn't come last friday and did started Immuno bit earlier.....we'll punish her this Friday by making her talk about most everything. Just kidding...She's a newly married from Nigeria.A fresh graduate at that with the latest edition of Kaplan notes....
Ok i'm also trying to put in some time for looking through the biochem that i already did.
I wonder if OLDKID is following us a day here or there and is not letting depression to set in.....studying next week will be difficult as i have guest coming for the long weekend but i'll keep at the common subject at least.
Hey ZENITH i had a tough time furniture shopping...wish u luck by something simple and beautiful don't spend too much money....ok?Maybe u sud check some stuff online so u are already in the mode and go to the right places.
P. u haven't sent any qs. in a long while?
