Ok i'm back to this world of living....adults.Like i said yesterday went playing and baking and cooking.Today i have bigger plans, Going to do at least 4-5 chapters of biochem Dna and stuff...if i have time i might just look at some other subject..seeing u all doing path and pharm..i feel like jumping to those too.Let's see....
It's good to see JAIDE back too.Ya i'd love to show u his dimples too.and his curly top....but not here I think.We all procrastinate from time to time but it's all about getting back as u rightly suggest.That needs strength.IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME .... so where are u with sudies right now?
Hey UNIQUE1 i don't think i have the slides either..just the lectures and then i have thBook.Well never mind will look into webpath.I felt that i had forgetten the teeny parts of brain so i went over all the NA in webpath and then started studying.U are doing pretty good all things considered.
SEEMS u seem pretty serious these days.....doing alright i hope not to stressed or something.U look like u are doing fine with studies too.
OLDKID it was so nice to see ur post.....enjoy what u are doing right now 'coz all that's imp. too.Family and stuff and if u accept that u won't feel so guilty abt. not studying and will be better able to when u can.Good luck.
PROCTALGIA..i was beginning to miss u now.if only he had fallen asleep.i had to snatch my book from him he has already colored the na one.
U look like u are doing pretty good and will be able to keep up with ur time-line..that's neat.Am thinking that sud read general path too...for company sake..biochem is going to get pretty lonely.

am back guys..it was good fun this trip met so many ppl.Surya had the greatest time...playing with exotic birds looking at fish and meeting my friends and family and asking us both to go away so he could have fun with them.imagine?i don't think i knew what go away meant for a very long time and this kid. Any way i'm back and looks like everyone but proctalgia is away.BTW thanks for the slides.
the others must be having a good time too.u have been so good to ur books. I'm going to be getting back to them today. Alost done nothing in the subject but now i need to brace myself 'coz all the following weekends are going to be busy for me.
guess what through this forum some of us might be forming a study group here in Houston...lets see of that goes..but i'll still be here everyday...whenever.
So guys whereevr u are good luck and study hard.

Hey buddies ..knock knock.
Looks like only SEEMS and PROCTALGIA are here.Well i did a couple of chapters yesterday.3 times over.
So P. did u finish Neoplasias?Sud i ask Qs?
SEEMs what is u do when u are not able to read post weekend?I think this problem needs to be dealt with backwards.also what Chapter or topic are u meant to read today?U'llbe fine....once u know u have some accounting to do.

Our thread seems a little sleepy this week...'coz most ppl. are travelling but let me tell u what u can do. Get a plan.Decide around when u want to take the exam and start with ur most hated basic science subject or most feared.
Depending on which part of the world u are in...your study material may vary.But for the most it's Kaplan,with BRS and lippincott here and there.U might find some stuff available through rapidshare on wasatariq's thread for free.
Most ppl. in this thread have done more than 50% of their first read.Not me though I've only done Anat and physio....right onto biochem and genetics.U start as u can...and u are most welcome to join this thread if u wish to.Good luck.
P. and S. How are u guys...so funny here without the rest of the gang, ain't it?
So SEEMS did u manage to read some or not? what are u supposed to be doing girl? I'll help if u tell.
P. good boy u are really doing us all proud.Keep it up and keep us all rolling.The qs. will come.

Hi Gang
Sorry for not reporting earlier. I have been reading the posts and wasn't able to post firstly, this Ramadan schedule at my hospital is very hectic and absorbs most of the energy. I am mostly doing evening shifts that lasts uptil midnight so practically I can't be online at that time. In the most of the mornings and afternoons I am half dead.
Regarding the studies, they are dead too. I was going at a good pace but things got stuck. I am planning to pick up Goljan again and do some patho before I travel.
Its nice that seems, mytime and proctalgia are keeping the forum alive. I am really having bad dreams and my conscience has started to prick me to start studying. I am looking forward to reschedule my targets and study well once I return from Canada hopefully early November.
GL to you guys and hope you carry on well.
I'll be posting now and then, but regarding studies please pray for me!!!!

hi guys,
i've been gone for long but u all have been on my mind. i've been reading the posts - just haven't had a chance to post anything myself. it feels wonderful to be back.
mytime: i think u had asked me a while ago if i was done with Biochem or not - i'm not sure if i've answered this already, but yes, i'm thru with BC. how is it coming along for you? i found Mol Biol very boring - the metabolisms and genetics was good.
okay, so where is the rest of the gang?????? our thread seems dead...........only a few like mytime and proctalgia have been keeping the thread alive. and hey, proctalgia, i didn't know u live in maryland. u should have told me before.
anyway, as far as progress goes, it has been pretty slow. i started with micro and am done with general micro and 3/4th of bacteriology. gosh, its such a long chapter (100+ pages), but i'm glad i'm almost at the verge of finishing it now. next target will be fungi.
that reminds me - where in the world is Target?????
i guess Unique1 is still in Philly and Seems is busy cramming. oldkid is getting all geared up for his trip - have a safe trip, man!! enjoy every moment so that u come back all refreshed and rejuvenated to attack your books once again.
got to run - i have like a million things going on in my life right now. God, please give me the strength to handle each one to the best of my ability!
study hard - all u struggling souls out there - no one ever said USMLE was going to be easy - but its doable my friends, so let us give it our best shot.............

u are doing good considering.my BC is just the way urs was....still at Genetics though...the moment i turn the page..i'm lost hence, unable to proceed feeling as if i don't rmemeber what i just did!
Anyway i think it's proctalgia who is keeping us alive.I'm sure he's enjoying path much.
Yup looks like between being crazily exhausted OLDIE is busy getting set to meet family.I'm sure he'll sleep the entire way to Canada.

helloooooooooooooo............where in the world is everyone??????????its lonely out here without u guys. please don't stop writing - this thread really keeps all of us going.
mytime: that was really sweet - it feels so nice to know that i was missed and that my absence was quite conspicuous. what u r going thru with genetics is very normal, since this is your 1st reading. that is why repetiition is so neccessary. the key here is to keep turning those pages and not trying to memorize everthing in your 1st read. but make sure, u spend enough time to grasp the concepts well.
as for me, by God's grace, i'm finally done with Bacteriology - still have to do 50 end-of-chapter Qs though. that shouldn't take long. i hope to start Fungi today, but not very sure since my neck is hurting like hell today (probably pulled a muscle while sleeping) and besides, hubby and i are planning to go to the movies tonight. isn't it funny that i will still go for the movie despite my pain, but when it comes to studying, there are excuses galore...........
this wknd is going to be a busy one - have to attend a friend's baby shower tomorrow!
i hope to put in a few constructive hours of studying over the weekend - i hope i have something positive to report on monday morning.
meanwhile, u guys hang in there and keep your noses to the grind.

i m sorryi cudnt post anything cz i was away frm my boks and computer as well .
