Hello everyone,
Has anyone seen target? I havent either.......where is our mytime with the yellow sun in the blue skies...Oh God! It is so good to be here.......Missed you guys .havent even seen the thread.....was swallowed in writing my first grant...well everything is done and out ......and I am back ( I hear you....yes again I am back!) I am ready this time I feel ......as our lost mytime says everything around us happens -that is the way life is.......uniques summer time with kids, shwe's guests, indi's appendix, jaide's typhoid, (hope I have the correct names for the correct diagnosis),surya's sickness, aim99 hard time at work........everything just happens and more will happen.......we just have to go focussed.......oldkid, focus, indi -and rest taking exam in july best of luck. Rest of you are going strong and thanks for keeping the thread alive for people like me who are about to give a fresh start after almost a year of starting the prep........No cribbing ....USMLE here I come.....this time for sure......Love you all.......SSS CONGRATS! Novak thanks for remembering me - good going.

Then remember your grant . Congrat grant done.
Hey, never feel bad. We all plan at the start, some get started , done, some stop in between, some come back, few not but all are as plan , choice or not , that's the way it is though we like it usmle way .
I am in north of you knowing nothing that from here we get chance to go down, no idea at all till v. junior force me to come down to have their old kap books to study here then go to course . That was long ago , soon after me crazy 12 hr FT job days.
So imagine, those books can only read few hr, minute on train, so i only got read few anatomy . Then I had have to stop reading to focus FT work that gave me work chaos like GGT, Aim .
The south junior Drs are in big position & even some of them thought I do not want this mle , but thanks to the strong supporter, beliver of few , so I am still in the game , been in & out like one yr on, next yr off, cause of still in crazy busy job.
Then in PT job, it was great , excellent study in early, but as with teen , family , they need me than I need me . So i plan to stop few mo end of last yr , but ends up readind still though not off totally, but on for slower pace .
See Target, Aim, NV , all ...so even with PT job, also read one yr on, next yr off like this early yr due to so many, sick, me , them, school, etc, guests is last one that have not see for good 10 or more yrs , so imagine, some seen briefly in last 5--6 yr ago.
Ok , enough story, what I meant is , things can happen, just cope with that, pick up book asap when you are in good shape for study. I know we never are, but what I meant is you're physically, mentally able to study at that moment, do it right away, stat, prompto.
So where is..... AIM ?? Target is back.
SSS..... big big congratulation, double within one month , new baby girl, then pass st 1, will hear passing CS soon then st 2, match etc.Do not stop sis sss , you're doing great.

Victor.... as MT said, best is next door, local Dr if in USA or Canada , so you'll go regular . Nothing to loose or to be ashame of , to ask, mention that you're IMG, going to get exm done to be practice, get the MD here . You'll be surprise, at least they will wish you good luck, only v. v. v. few will discourage you , so far only one in my case , she thought why not b4 , also residency tough life that she want me to start long ago, but as we all have our own situation, not that we cannot or we do not want to .
MT go for it all, observer, st 1 exm too .
Rest of all family friends , study well , keep healthy . Need break, week end is approching , do not forget to get at least half day off, too much continuous hard study sometime leads to hard hit in health " that take longer to be back ".. as full stream speedy study , I had it for several times in my FT job time yrs & this yr PT job, winter , fall that I am still recruiting my physical energy & study mood in right rhythem speed as b4.
GL to......exm takers in this mo., next mo , etc,
GL & productive progressive study to...... exm preppers like me & the rests .
GL GL GL happy success study to me, sis, bro, friends, all

Thanks Shwe and Mytime. Shwe thank you so much for stopping by my journal. i feel honored and care for. Yeah the grant was something I started working on last month and found some exciting results The deadline was just 4 weeks away - didnt know if I could make it because the concept was new and I had to generate data and write this grant all in a month. Usually people have a good headstart say atleast 4 months.
Decided that I am going to do it .....worked real hard 10-14 hours sometimes weekends collected all data needed and then in between had some emergency visits for acute abdominal pain with iv fluids et al, just when I was about to start writing. The 5 days I was done writing and my boss liked it the first round and said I did a good job! Hey ! I did it and submitted it 1/2 hour before deadline - I am so proud of myself for this - ot in vanity but just that I was able to do it. It has given me some immense sense of satisfaction that I feel good about myself. Then I thought if I could do this I could do the same this for step 1 too! So here I am ....like I said I figured morning is the best for me to study and asked my boss for an afternoon shift - everything is okay now but I am getting used to this new routine. I just have be consistent....CONSISTENCY is going to be key for me now on. Aim 99 are you listening too? I want you back and lets start it again.....
I am scheduled for diagnostic lap next month so probably there will be a break but I plan to do the most of what I can when I can...like shwe pointed out. Novak where are you.....now sss passed step 1 what is the score? am I missing something....unique you are my motivation for consistency...rest of the gang hang in there......

Another friend from our group made us proud today. SSS with a 95. Congrats to her .
Best of luck to the next two in the line . As far as I know , they both are going to take their test on the same day. Good luck Kid and NnL. You both are in our prayers.

Dear Novak , I am doing Neuroanatomy these days. This is my first read of NA. At the same time I am trying (without any success )to read a little bit Biochem (2nd read but feels like first as I do not remember a word ). I have not decided my exam date yet. Actually my youngest one will start her school this September . I hope I would be able to study better after that. After 1-2 reads with full devotion, I will take practice tests and my exam date will depend on those scores.
This will be only a one time exam for me. If (God forbid) I fail it, I will not take it again. So I plan to go with full preperation and leave the rest in Almighty's hands. If I fail after putting my best into it, then I believe that God has planned something else for me and HE is the best planner.

Dear Friends,
Thankyou so much for your support. Yes, I am going for it on 30th as planned. I haven't prepared extremely well but I am doing the best I can with my rusted mind. I am counting on God to help me out and prayers of my friends and family. I will be away from the forum for sometime due to exam and then later with job demand but I will try to post what I experienced there. My sincere advice at this point of preparation cram FA as much as you can.
I would like to congratulate sss sss on her big score and becoming a mom too.
In the end again, please pray for me and I wish you all good luck for your well deserved hard work for this nasty exam

hi old kid nice to see you.......go for it buddy.......you have worked hard all this year.......just last days.....give it your best..........take deep breaths in between.....tell yourself I can do it ....and just put your faith in HIm and just do it.....we will keep you in our prayers. I am so proud of you! We started around the same time but your have constantly kept at it through all your struggles....keep it up!
