Finally finish Goljan part of cardio, will start pharm part and meanwhile will start Renal system.

Good going jena99. Today and tomorrow I have to read some bugs, and on Thursday I will finish goljan path too, I just finished BRS path, and will continue with pharm too and finish physio, cause I haven't yet.
So the next system will be Renal?, ok.
In the past I have been blessed to have the prayers of these forum help me through rough, tough times, in this ocassion I am again coming to you to ask for your prayers. I beleive they do help and right now I am scared. Where I live there has been more than 20 violent acts against doctors, including kidnappings, and today I found out that my neighbor received call demanding money or they would kidnap their family, violence is too close to home, I live in fear, please, please pray for my families health and well being, my Dad, Mom and brother will trully thank you.

yab ... welcome , in usa go to kaplan center ......... the staff will tell u all re the exm .. books plus usually can get 1 free day pass to watch their dvd, books , do diagnostic tests etc, give them ur e mail now , let them kn u r coming & send u any local or general kap promotion .
Also go to kaptest.com ........ then kaplan medical........ then to usmle & take free challange free st 1, st 2 qs .. r very tough though .
Then fr there u will see which books u will go for , which course u might do [ live is usually best after read books ahead ] . Buy books online at used or onsale time at all web sites liek amazon, Barns & N etc, google it . With e bay , half.com etc .
But I prefer amazon etc real name store , not e bay sinec we do not know the seller .
Best ... local , or connection , friends' friends to give away or even sell latest edition exm prep materials .
vsinga .......... welcome , unfortunately , here we all have different time, city live in & commiment so , we jsut post here, tag along , support , help, encorage , checkon study on each other , not as read or study 24/ 7 [ just to emphasize, not really that long hr ] to gether in person or etc . dr.inzhagi..bio for me was one of my biggest fear..i just did it the gung ho approach.. becoz it scared me, i told my self i was gonna kick behind on it..
here is wat i suggest....go thru the book ..the first few chap.. try to understand as much as u can..but its completly ok, if u dont coz thats wat the dvds r there for..helping u clear up any and all confusions.. after u finish a ch no matter how little u think u may have grasped..go thru the dvd lecture of the said chapter..it may take more time, and it may or may not take more then one veiwing/reading..but it should eventually come thru...bio isnt really the kind of sub that u should open any textbooks for.. coz honestly... everything u need to know for ur exam is in those Ln..
gud luck and keep at it.. persistence is the key to this damn exam...

whoops!!!
i wanted to drop in and say hi..and let all u guys know, in thinking of u and i miss this thread. my job has me totally pressed for time and im guilty of not checking up on u friends.. so forgive me..
im uber happy to see novak and zade and shwe still posting here.. and to c that target too has come bac! and sweet sweet shwe is still doing the job of high morale keeping...
im gonna b around more often..atleast more then i was in the past months..my step 2 is gonna b in oct, so not this match ...sigh..oh well..i hope u all get super resi and then i can bug u to get me observerships etc..lolzz

ZaDE, welcome back, nice to hear from you.
Target, wow, what a change, what made you think to change to CS?, is it the time constriction to do it before august to get into this match? whatever you decide we are behind you 100%. I am guessing the doctors gave you a clean bill of health, and I hope you are feeling great.
Jena, Shwe, target, hey guys, I have been out of it this couple of weeks, I changed jobs, well, at list for these week, I am trying on a new job in my vacation time from the other job, and I am still with the classes, so I will tell you guys when I am back on track, it is going to be soon.

Novak: I just read all the posts and was sorry to hear about the situation at home but you are in my prayers.
Target: I also did CS first but I ve not kept going and is still stuck on step 1. hope you fair better than me. BTW when is yourr date?
Well, not much going on here . The mind is willing but the body is not. Not sure what it is
but hoping to get motivated soon. Very angry with myself these days. Do I need a psychologist ? or some kind of professional help. This can not be normal. Please keep me in your prayers. I have my books with me all the time but barely open them. Feeling tired a lot. Watching too much TV instead of studying.

Novak, I am happy for you that you got a new job.
Taget, it's great that you made a decision. Good luck with your CS.
I didn't study a lot these days since I am pretty busy with my job and also I get very bad allergy. I don't like spring. I feel terrible.
Anyway, we need keep going.
