Hi adora, welcome. We are studying right now cardiovascular system wise, so we are reading, anatomy, hystology, embrio, physio, pharm all of cardiovascular, we should finish it by this week, because we are behind on our schedule, but you are welcome to join.
Are you an IMG?, are you in your first reading?, when are you planning to take step 1?

Has anyone finish cardiovascular. I noticed that in the pathology forum there is going to be a second drill covering cardio pathology, maybe it would be a good idea to join in that drill.

Jena ... patho takes long , so enjoy it , pl do not feel as stuck, since it is everything so proud to b doen path part when doing system or subj wise .
Will b really busy this 2 wk so, if not here , do not worry , but will try my best to say hi at least .

Hi Jena, shwe, novak, adora (welcome) thank you for all the kind words. How is studying going. I am starting today again as I am at home! (nice boss:nod Tomorrow a hospital visit to see if my prothrombin time is in the therapeutic range and I should be back to work and my routine. Till I ll try to make good use of my time at home! It is an extra thrill to be at home when everybody else is working

Taget, It's nice to see your post again. Take a good care of yourself and don't work too hard for these couple days.
Shwe, u r right. I should be patient with pathology, especially using Goljan's lectures and notes, there are lots of related information to take extra time, but it's good for sys wise.

Hey guys,
Well, I just finished chapter 2 from section III Peripheral Circulation from physio, notes and video. I am going to start skeletal muscle video right now, since it is a pre-requisite for cardiac physiology.
I am guessing that I am the one who is more behind, how are you guys doing?, where are you at?, have you finished cardiovascular?
I will finish cardio by this Sunday!!!, It's been almost a month no?, yeesh. I am going to treat myself to a movie when I finish Physio on Sunday to celebrate

Nice to know that you guys are moving persistently in the right direction with dedication. Shwe, Novak, target, NNL, zade and many others. Here is some good news for you to be motivated from. I passed Step 2 CK with 85.
I started off with this study group with the second post on it. I am certainly blessed to find this forum and friends here who have guided me throughout. So, if I can do it you people can surely do better than me. Just keep on moving no matter what the odds are. GL! My prayers and wishes are always with you.

No Jena and Novak, you are not the worst of the bunch. I have not picked up my book for two weeks and have to start over again.
I was busy doing my taxes till Tuesday, and now my place is like a hurricane went through it. I am going to take this weekend to clean up and organize myself and by next Tuesday I am hoping to refocus . I actually feeling a lot of pressure to do this now as I was made a very good offer which depends on passing step I and II before the end of the year and I have already wasted a quarter of the year.
OLKID: Congrats. I remember when u starte this thread and I also know that you are
an old graduate. This gives me a boost as I was feeling that I might be too far removed from the books to even try to remember any thing.
WELCOME amybmc. Not quite sure where everybody is, study wise. I beleive we are doing the system thing. Keep checking this thread and we will keep u posted.
SOS TO: Novak, Target and Jena and all others. We need to communicate and really for mulate a plan of attack.

So u r not too late, I can start my chpt 1 , but it's not my 1st read which some time take longer than 1st read since u have to keep it as last read or at least last serious read b4 .. may b one more fast review . So let's roll
jena ......, some time exm is plain luck even u try hard , luck is hard work u can say , but also u know what to prep , then u prep what u need , hard work is good but some times it overlook the rt prep as doing HY well than doing all well that can b too many to recall so .. better hard work with prep right way .. that the qs in for checking we kn what we jsut read or learn .. so amny qs , like in kap LN , q banks , q book , uw , even rx etc , all depends u can handle , so , also in the exm rm, that is most important than any day that u have to have right mind without any distarction [ that what I meant plain luck too .. not means luck without study work hard study hard, that's means luck with study hard with good day ] so can win the exm .
Bottom line is do common , all doing plus , as ur needed as references or extra to help u do understand well what u r reading , that's is peroid.
Easy to say hard to find out the rt way , just b active, alert , do try , if fit u take it, if not stop rt away even the best book but optional .
Zade ... tell me about it, tax tax this is busy time so better not aim, book for that as exm time or serious time   well re house in Tonado , u like , go ahead to clean up but not without any papi's music or any usmle music u can play while busy with ur house cleaning , that a start of restarting ur study .
TG , NV pl report once a wk atleast , now wk end is coming so do post on wk end
My report ... arrrhhhhhhh ............. too busy these few wks , wish can sit home tight FT study , sorry Oldkid still try to balance life , fm , study , work etc .
So am outting with my boys after busy wks, so study abit slow , but will back to full swing , promise to night after this unusual long post , not been posting for awhile & reply some mail if still awake after studying .
RR is still rolling with few other subj , card , qs & papi's speech as mind can take , hope will speed up , need to review bioch , god pl give me strenght .. physically, mentally , health wise to sit long to study well .

Zade, good luck with your new job.
Ok, so I didn't have study time this weekend. I went to a meetting where a person from some organization in the US, assures you that if you finish and get your nursing degree online that they give you a job in a US hospital and that they help you with inmigration, just as long if you are bilingual (spanish-english) because of the shortage of nurses that CA has. I went to know the details but I won't take the offer.
I have read histology, embriology, half of anatomy, physio, patho and pharm of cardio, so I need to finish these last 4, I will finish physiology first.

Try on phone is easier than mp3 , ask any boys at home to do transfer to ur phone .
Congrat on better new job , GL in studying with new job .
NV ....... been there , do that , STOP going to the meeting u will not going to do for jsut get info , our brain have enough too much info to save in our brain cells for st 1 etc exm so save all brain cells, time energy for that if u think u r not going to do that RN job , so study by that time instead or simply relax recharge chill out have fun .
Sorry sis , been there like that for ages when no study time with FT long hr , but was looking for answer solution better option by time, as stepping stone b4 can do st exm for MD usa .
Even though I regret that time I run to those meeting .. as for all MD IMG recruit not from usa but from local & far down under too etc , thought will get better or will like them but deep down is MD usa dream so , let's stick to it , shell weeeeeeeeeeee sorry sis if I am harsh on u, but not want u to loose time , energy & lost tarck sinec u r really good on tarck rt now, keep moving , no look back or to the sides .
Jena .......... u mean u r doing all subj in sytem or like zade ........ path , physio & few anatomy in syetm ?? or like zade ....... anatomy , physio , path , Pharm too in system or like ............. TG ........... syetm like NV , rt TG ??
Am might also doing sound sytem though path , with related subj in sytem except pharm which will b later after all path .

Hi guys,
Thanks for the concern. i am much better now. This weekend finished cardio and renal pharm from Kaplan. Still have few chapters in RR. Dont know how much I remember though!
Has anyone any clue about the sunshine girl.............no sign of her Hopes she is fine and visits us once in a while. Shwe hope you are picking up speed. Jena and Novak good going ! Zade where are you in studies. Old kid I am so happy for you that you are done with all the steps! Hurray for you.
