Been so quiet again here.
...... Jok , make sure ur big name on & ur really officially in , even u do all hard work to get grant etc especially financially, that's things can happen especially in research field .
u will see, learn young Jok , hope ur case is different from all reserach field we all in, or heard of , so many step on ur head stuff like that .

Hi shwe,
Thank you so much for remembering me. I have been really busy with the kids new school year preparations and stuff. Now when they are getting into their routines I hope to visit the forum more frequently. Have not read your journal either in a long time. Will visit you there too. I hope you are doing well in your studies.
Keepgoing , what happened to your journal. Looks like I have missed a lot by not being able to come to the forum in the last couple of weeks.

U ... same here, busy shopping, prepping .. for new school year . When will be end, never, we enjoy it too cause , we also get excited, busy, shopping for self too 
Still few shopping for school will going on, though not intense like the last week & long week end.

Was very busy with bakc to school also. This years I have been the most unprepared and has been running around late a lot. Still not completely finished yet.
Hopefully things and kids will settle in by this week end. While the dust is settling I will attempt to squeeze in some physio.

There, I did it. I ask the PI whether I will publish and she said I will, and I didn’t dare to ask whether I will be first author bc it would seem too eager but I got a feeling im going to bc ill be the one writing the paper. Retrospectively I really didn’t have to ask bc when I first started, the PI stressed that its very important to her that her students publish papers so that was sort of implied. Apart of this its just an awesome place to work with helpful, friendly people. im extremely fortunate.
Im been her for 3/4 of a year now and I still know little about u guys. Which specialties are you all going for? where is ur address, phone no., email so I can stalk.
Also, I hope ur kids appreciate ur sacrifice for them. When I was young I didn’t and I regret it.

Glad to know , you will have publication , as far as you'll be in auther that is very good , keep up your good job & curiosity, we need in this med fields.
re; e mail , do pm friends you still do not have e mail contact, but some like to be communicate through here or pm , not mail .
Address, we will all change by time we got residency then will change agin in attending , or fellow for more than one time unless lucky to get all residency, attending or fellow at our place where we live right now, in that case it will not be for most of us, except who already in USA .
Phone is same as address will change , even without moving, changing the address some times. But skype, yahoo , any pc to pc call are now cheaper, more practical , so do not worry , you will lost track of us. Just do not disappear from here , we might not know where you are.
Re ; kids to parent, you are very bad, very very bad , Jok, we all have been teens once , some more than once , some still are teens [ like me], so all have been there , done that , so pl do NOT regret what happened in past, even in last second. Focus at present & do best , still never too late to give , show love, appreciate, thanks parents, sibs, any one you need to .{ Am I included , say .. }
In our culture, it says, water as nature , will flow from up stream to down stream , never reverse [ but one big river did flow from north to south , instead of south to noth as like all others.. I forget that river name] , so did parents' love, care, giving will also always flow from parents to the children, never [ actually not true , but generally it's right] reverse, that parents understand that, know that , accept that, forgive that. But it will be really nice when it is reverse , has so many reality , story , historic, etc story re both parents to children or children to parents love, care, sacrified story , & is still going on .
Ok , enough dramatic talk, emotional mood, back to study , or for u jok to research. Very happy to know u got very good environment, ppl around to work with.U're v. lucky, most are not like that in research or any , but especially in the basic Sc research for survival i think.
Hi .. every one, have a very good study week , winter is coming , here my city cool , abit chilly , but sunny, but other across the country are cold now & may be snow soon .
U...... hope both children feeling better , so can be back to school to not miss much learning.
Zade, I also doing last minute shopping on labor day & that long week end , just b4 & after that too, so been so tired for few days after school open . Now hope back to normal strenght, flow of study .
So quiet from NV, AIM , Target , also where is focus & indi.

Well said shwe! JOK good that you are in a good place. It makes all the difference not only to your professional but personal life. Both are interconnected. As for me feel I got my energy and self back when I drove my son to school the first time after several weeks. I am planning to get back to work after surgery - almost several weeks now......hope I havent forgottten how to pipette!!! Wish Ihad done more studying ......but it was a welcome break from a chaotic routines. Hope I will get back to my books soon. Why isnt anyone writing here anymore as often? Everybody becoming like target??? Bad ...........bad........

i m writing in aftr vrey loong i know ,but was busy ,i thought ill tak eteh exam ,but then teh nbme score ,made me pospone the exam ,yet again sigh!
so how ru guy s, mannn there ther is soo much going on ,i just read it today , i knew NNl and edi took the exam ,but i saw the scores today ,i was waiting 4 teh scores.
i knew that jaidi wa sgonna tke teh exam ,on teh the 14th of sep i think ,but i idnt know abt the thread ,to wish her ,now it stoo late but i ll wish 4 her score.

i saw target back ,and some new ppl too ,wawooo i missed on soo much .

i cant believe th eur results ,but i remembr everyone use to say in my med school ,that if u realise u r gonna score bad,plz flunk teh exam on ur own ,cz bad score dosnt take u anywhere ,and i have friends ,who r stuck wz bad scores an dtehy cant get into any residency programmes ,so than ALLAH ,that He gave u another chance.INSHA ALLAH u ll score great next time ,and look at us HUM SABBB HAI NA ,we r still stuck at prep 4 step! ,at least u wre the brave one to and atleast take teh exam ,unlike me ,postponing it again and again.
EDI: congrates on finshing step1 ,and i saw ur score just today well doen ,and as u said INSH ALLAH u sure will ace step2.good luck
