Girls.........am feeling like NOVAk so am just getting it done today or at least trying too.  We'll pick up something else soon enuff. So finish up as u like but point being finish up. Hi you gys, was only able to hear the audio of the first and second chapter of bio mol.
I am struggling to end micro today, I have to start another subject, hopefully this I can be done by tomorrow....
I am not sure which topic to do next, I was thinking anatomy and physio together by systems, or behavioral science....since I think behavioral science is a subject that you can crunch in less time if needed I will leave it last maybe, and start with anato-physio.

Hey I'm sure u guys know about the Green card situation for us immigrants right now. I and my husband are also ones caught up in the enitre nonsense! This is something I found on a website talking about the SEND FLOWER CAMPAINGN to the USCIS if u guys are not aware of it plz google and learn about it..... It's worth it! Just wanted to share.

ok..just a quicky here... i have got a job... yes..thats rite... a job... and its paying for my step 2 cs ... so i cant kick it(much as though i feel like it)...my step 1 tentaive as of now is mid august... will updte soon on the whole plan... tc u all.. and study hard...

Hey guys! I have one sincere question about observership or externship. So far, I have come across people who do not answer but just say "call them and ask". But there are certain Qs that confuse me.
I just want to know has anyone tried contacting physicians here in US? Is it preferrable to contact community Hosp? Do we need to have USMLE score when contacting them or is it okay even if I havent apprared for any step yet? Is in person or email or phone a better idea to initiate the talk?
These Qs are troubling me to initiate the search. I will really appreciate the replies to those. If anyone can give sincere inputs I will go out and give try in that direction.
Will really appreciate your help!

Oh please , do not let this site die or become dying like seeking study partner for step 1 [ please reactivate that site too, since alot are near exm , by posting Q & Ans like before, usual] , please also post Q at that seeking site for, by those near exm please .
Not long ago I was lucky, honored to get IM here by coolsuch . Then Cool.S disappear again. It was a very nice, friendly chat, hope Cool.S will be back here or seeking site to reactivate it's exm prep here .
Good to have own journal, near exm or not, but this thread is also good to be alive, visit so often by us, any friends , new & old , so it is the good site that desreves to be active all the time, it is also full of memory & still will come with our common hang out area.
Though like our study days, life, it was & will be up & down, noisy & quiet, good & bad days.
But after all this is the site we all met , get into real life, or cyber friendship, family and alot of us are still keep in touch here or online or chat or phone .. so hope that good friendship start from this site to our real life will continue & alive too.
SO ...I will still try to come here even after step 1, then other all steps, residency, attending , etc. Hope I can do that .
This is...like our common med school site [ in our this side of life after our old med school days ] , meeting place as when we're barely 16 , just out of high school & in the big huge med school, universirty compus
Anyway , sis, bro, friends please keep this site & seeking site alive , that is , peroid.

Jade, congrats on getting a job! I know how difficult it is to struggle with money, so thankfully you are going to be able to pay CS with this job.

@mt n shwe.....how sweet... and to think i was actually worried about where to go for my cs since i dont have family near the centers..(same states diff cities..)thanx so much u guys.. trully appreciate it and even if i end up in chicago or la.. i have full plans to visit u two aneways..
the job thing happened totally outta the blue.. i wasnt even there for an interview.. went with my uncle for his check up.. got talking to the admin guy and he asked me to drop my cv.. did that and completly forgot about it.. then a week later they call me up and presto!! the pay is gud ..and so r the hrs..
things seem to b looking up for moi these days...

Hi Victor, I am not in the US so can't really help you much, but I do know some people who are doing observerships and they don't have all the steps done, so I guess it doesn't matter, although if you were certified it would be a plus, but don't wait until you get your certificate to start looking for observerships because it would be too late by then.
I think you should e-mail, and then call them if you don't get a positive respond or any answer.
I know I read something about this in another thread, maybe if you use the search option, can't remember where, maybe in the match support forum or the USCE thread. Good luck!...I think there is no one better way to do it, Just start and you will learn as you talk to different programs.

@novak....thanx... yeah the money was becoming an issue(bless my parents, they never made me feel bad..which indirectly made me feel guilty..)..my younger bro wants to go abroad as well and i felt really really bad about sitting on my hands.. this way atleast i can support my own plans to some extent..

rmo.. thats like resident med officer.. basiclly interning without the official title of intern.. history taking,examinations,making sure labs r sent n collected and then presenting the whole package to the consultant.. and following thier orders as regards to rx... the hospital has mostly elective surgery pats..so its fun and sometimes i can get an hr or so to catch up on my buks in btw too..
