Hi ev body.I am an IMG and my exam in Sept07.I am reading this site often although not posting regularly.Congratulations MYTIME.PL someone could tell me abt what all cds r most imp to do?I hav a problem with web path.I saw its CNS gross,MRI N X ray slides ,IT is not labelled.it just mentions the stru seen in slides without labelling it.I cant understand that.IS it how u all r watching web path or some other way to watch slides?PL tell me from what source we shd see MRI, Xray.THANKS in advance.

Am back and tired......was up last night consoling the sun in my life and today morning it being a rainy day..........felt myself drained before a start but I'm done now and all i can say is hope it's for good. Will write my exp. later. Am glad i don't have to wait for the test results. Step 1 here I come.

Thank you MT , Cs is v. draining in mind, brain, physical too. So go have a nice relax outting or hot bath or dinner with family & play with your sunshine.
Even in class we got drain, the teacher too . Alot of thinking, be alert, keep on moving , talking, writing all time. Ahhhhhh, that you like to say but cannot lost track 7 crack, not to loose smile , mind too. Good to have exm day with rain, so not too hotto push more sweat on CS.
Thank you sis for let's us know, it's over, so it is morning one.
Now I can concentrate my study MT, will be back on Wednesday .

Hi Shine,
Welcome again. I am not into any webs, or pic , will do later may be, only if time permit .
Webpath did not attract me, does not means no good, every one using it I guess . I am just happy with kap dvds & HY & my med school, clinical experinces, though not in practice now. But i am good at pic if I see them once usually i see them already except not sure about histo path that was long ago so I will trust kap , Hy for that . Then occasinal browse when run into the pic .
You want histo with lable google it as hito, path or check library or med or local book store , look in the books.
So wait for others here or ask at support forum . Most of us are now studying harder , so not much post here .

Dear Friends,
Just too sad and wanted to share that Indidoc was having a severe abdominal pain since morning today and has been diagnosed with appendicitis. He is scheduled for an appendectomy within a few hours from now.
Needs our prayers BIG TIME so plz do pray for him.
Mytime: I am sure you must have done great dear.......ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR WONDERFUL SCORE!!
Jaide: Just read that you are suffering from Typhoid. I am so sorry dear . Hope you get a REAL SPEEDY RECOVERY!! Plz do write as soon as you are a little better.

Arite here it is again!
AM EXTREMELY SORRY ABOUT U INDI. Y now? But I guess that'd how life is!  U win some u lose some. Same goes for JAIDE.  I'm sorry u both went thru this hell or a re going thru it. But look at it as such u will get better and u'll get stronger. And that will make u even more determined than before.
MY exam was OK i guess. I think I'll write my exp. better after I get my results. The night before was tough as Surya scared us with c/o headache and his screaming...he was on treatment for a bad otitis which i must had he had after quite sometime. So i went to the exam center in a daze with my mind at home. I left my fone with the proctors and told Rohit to call and leave a msg abt whatever the doctor said. In the meantime messed my CNS case bigtime, coz all i cud think of was what was Surya having! There was one person I cudn't counsel. Forgot to drape a lady till she mentioned that she was quite cold. I apologised and draped her immediately. Forgot to tell a back pain lady abt. her slipped disc but mentioned other possibilities. Rest of the day I think I was mostly fine, of course I'm sure I did forget some more stuff but that's it. I cud have done better had my night be better but like I said SUCH IS LIFE! All goes hand in hand. Love u guys. Am trusting ur prayers more than my efforts! Now I'll be onto Step 1. I'll try make a schedule today and we'll start soon.

I too wish speedy recovery, can not believe it happened, wasn't he suppose to have exam any soon ? Oh, I'm sure he is a strong person and will get better very soon. My prayers are with him.

Oh,Mytime there are some inevitable events for us in the life, that's how it is,as you said. We must be strong, do our best. Sorry to hear about your son, and his chronic otitis, that must be hard for you, better to say you and hubby. Poor little boy.
As for exam, I'm sure you did as good as you could that day, and you gave your maximum ! Everybody makes mistakes, so don't worry now, soon you will find out, with our prayers, the PASS will come out of it.
Hm, what did you mean '' touch inappropriately''.  Was he male ?

Surya is coughing and ears a getting better as they drained. KG I think it was either sinuses or that some boy had hit him with a billard ball on his head. Thank God! But whichever..............i was so scared. Yea GG my husband didn't go to work all the stress almost had him. And yeah male.

Hey friends,
Just spoke to your all time fav clown. He is in the recovery room and sounded different. Getting better and will be home by tomorrow.
I did visit the forum before and conveyed all your kind prayers (by names )
Unique: About me, i did manage doing some stuff but my UW and a couple of q banks are still piled up. I know people doing about 5000 questions before taking the big plunge. I was thinking of giving an NBME and just going for it. Might extend a few more days to finish off whats remaining. Thanks for your kind thoughts.
Mytime: All these teeny meeny mistakes are bound to happen when we are in so much stress. Just realx and chill. How is Surya now?

Like To wish our strong buddy INDI get well soon,with successful surgery with speedy recovery. As a minor surgery with our INDI , am sure he will be ok .
MT , your son age is otitis age here, hope that goes away when he is older.
Re the inappropriate touch ... hmm , will have to ask teacher for sure . email me detail with how , & your detail react too, I am serious. I can e mail teacher by c/p your message.
My assumption...
1. it happen accidentally with no purpose or intention.......then let it be, in that case usually some say sorry to you , but few some say none cause so embarass self.
2.it happen purposely without written in their act script , just that person , not as sp act
....... then , you did right , I think in exm room or real life .
BECAREFUL , it happens in real life too to both man or woman DR, nurse, PA, secretory, receptionist any one in health care fields. Just be alert, cautious, play safe .
It happens in ways of not only inappropriate touch in so many ways, act , move, manner , dress or not, talk , look , crush on you, onto you, charm with you etc rude, shout, angry, just do not like you cause of no reasonable reason you know the reason or not etc.
3. it happens on purpose cause in the sp's act script...... I doupt it, but may be too, with so many incidents for Drs male or female , nurses, PA, Medical, Dr assistant especially in pt room one by one with you situation , or even open place .
They might want to know how we should, would react , but , I really do not think it's in the script . It is inappropiate touch , not talk or manner which are already good enough to get , test right reaction fr you as Dr .
I do not know , still like to know in that case , we should tell pt openly in really life or not . We do share those among Drs etc in office staff , so we all know next time pt , usually same pt do that we'll be careful , be alert .
It happens more to handsome , good looking, nice, gentleman, charm, cute, sweet male Drs etc , & charm ,look young, pretty, adorable, nice, sweet, cute female Dr etc , does not matter the race .
I have friend do speak out but she is not in health care field, she is in pc world , when guy look at pc when all are at pc center, but he is on the top of back of , over the girl , she said, " you know you're on top of me " , so he back off .
Any , was going to e mail you this, but I think all might want to know, be careful .
Only law suit hear, pt to Doc, I never know Dr, health care staffs to pt , if do it will be great in here & back home & around the world . That is why in some part of the world & some Dr has opposite sex` nurse or medical assitant etc in room with opposite sex DOC when has pt in room especially when doing the physical examination.

Focus, I have to re search for my CS post too , cause i write most right after my CS course & was surprise , still fresh when write for MT here & at my site. But not sure will stick by time I will do Cs in long way after .
If you have save all pl re link here after the st 1 exm , so by that time we will be into Cs too , or I will find time in future to do that .
Do study well kap LN chp Q Q book DVD, audio papi & his path LN or RR then kap Q bank as study explain , FA will do I think, also some say UW as learning .
CD from USMLE is important some said.
You might already know that immu, genetics, mole , CT, MRI, histo patho are there too .
I might not do much on line web for the pic or radiology CT MRI , willl do kap LN dvd & HY I think. Cause those webs image really slow me down like net anatomy, web path etc.
What do you all think?? MT will say do web pic .
Read Feyza exm experinces all pages , friends . Do not forget to reread Anemelie, our sis 99 exm experince here too in ?? Apr post .

Its not a matter of being in group or not. Most of the senior members of the groups are nearing their exams so they don't get time to answer or post that regularly as before, including myself.
Here I would like to say congrats to all those who have already written and awaiting results and GL to those who are going to do it in near future. I also wish speedy recovery for all friends and their families.
Now coming back to your question, you can visit the website www.netanatomy.com which is highly recommended and do it before august first. I have a Cd of webpath it gives explainations and also important areas of the slides are marked by arrow. I am not sure which slides are you referring to. You can check University of Utah for webpath slides. I think its downloaded from there. Another good thing would be to check Goljan slides/FA slides which are High yield in the exam and also for further study you can consult Robbins too.
I am also an irregular visitor in this forum and I don't know when I will check the posts again. but I hope it helps you.
You are more than welcome in this forum. There are many moms in here, I am one of the very few dads.
